was it okay to add the
5mm preload right before install? i remember reading put zero first then add the preload after it settles

If swift springs you can just set preload.
If not swift and standard I don’t think it would matter. I’d double check it after a week after it settles and reset.

Boss man, with the 2” gap base height, was the car’s front and back height even? The front height is perfect with the gap to my liking but didn’t really see the back from the side view.

      Hey, thanks for watching!
Yeah, the rear was pretty even! I had to go back and look at it but it was pretty much equal. 👌

@@nolanmarketti Thanks for the quick response! I might pull the trigger on this one. What was your final height setup? Did you go lower than the initial 2” gap?

      @@michaelfeliciano2847 No probs.
I didn't go lower, I left it after making those final adjustments. Honestly, that's about as low as I'd go personally. It's cutting it really close to curbs/ramps.
Product links are in the description!

After a year of having your silvers how do you like them now?

I ran them all summer and they aren't too bad. You do feel a lot of the road and if the road is bad it's stiff. But that's the price with coilovers. I plan on putting them back on in a couple weeks now that winters over.
I was thinking about doing a comparison video in more detail.

wow, if I only had the time. so, are you returning all of the other rear arms you didn't use? Instead of buying yet another (bump steer) kit, why not just raise the car up to a more optimal setting? Sure, you won't be as low, but better handling doesn't always equate to looking good, it is about going faster around corners. As nice as those Silver's are, I would rather stick w/the Swift springs and the Bilstein B8s you mentioned in the previous suspension video; then use a rear sway bar to dial in rear grip as needed

      They were returned.
I think I'm going to raise it about an 1" back up. It would still likely need some geometry corrections though. I thought I wouldn't scrap and well, already done like 3 times lol.
I love the Swifts. Keeping those for winter driving.
I was going to saw bars, etc but I have something else special coming to the channel soon. 😏
