I was sad to see these disappear from the store! will they be making a return anytime soon? They're the first strain I wanted to experiment with from you 😅
Been binge watching all your videos. Amazing info and cool to see your fruits evolve. Cant wait to get more space to grow more then 1 strain at a time lol.
These look fantastic. I’m starting out now and I have one of the “basic” varieties on the go. I fully intend to try the more esoteric ones later, I’ve got a few in my wishlist from your store Ed. But I want to get some experience first, I’ve got plenty of mistakes to make! Your vids are a great help. Thanks mushly!
I used to work with other people. They don't clean glassware well and I didn't know what they were using them for. It's not a split personality disorder...maybe? LMFAO
Another fire flush!Ed is the man with the shoe box plan!love all the breeding and new species you got!keep it up! always look for new videos from you. Good to see the fruits of your hard work!
You are such a character, and one hell of a myc bro. I usually worry when watch TH-cam videos. Aside from yout turbulent movements around the flow hood (I have a sab that would never fly lol) it's all amazing.
Working with flow hoods gives you so much more freedom. The direction of sterile air flow you've seen in videos is coming from above. You become very aware of your 'box of sterile air' and which way to move and stay downstream of the sterile air.
Hey Ed thanks for everything you do. You may have covered this in another vid but is there a way to ensure your fruits mature at the same time? You always seem to have the nice canopy whereas I have to pick fruits as they mature. If there's no simple answer it's all good. If it's a stupid question I apologise 😂
If you get a good clone, the next round will be more consistent. Hard to get a canopy from a multispore. Then it's about homogenous substrate and fruiting conditions. Try to eliminate temperature and humidity fluctuations.
@@edwardgrand Thanks Ed I think temp fluctuations may be the main culprit, Since I live in Australia the temperature is passable to grow all year round so I don't grow in a temperature controlled tent. It's not the worst problem in the world to have I guess. 1st world problems right?😂 Thanks for the response 🙏 We are lucky to have somebody willing to share knowledge with years of experience and expertise to help in our growing journey.
I just inoculated some grain with it and was just curious about them. There's surprisingly not many videos on that specific strain. Are they aggressive?
People call it a pseudo-casing. Same as the substrate. Just a mix of coir and verm. 1/2 inch on top of the sub/spawn mix. I think peat moss is expensive and unnecessary these days.
It will never become completely exhausted. You have to determine whether the risk of contamination, grow space used, time, cost, and maintenance is worth the biomass the remaining cake may be capable of producing. It becomes a matter of diminishing returns on the 'investment' of time and resources.
@@edwardgrand also, is it the grain or the substrate that the mycelium feeds off of? So what you're saying over time the flushes get less and less dense?
@@MrBsAutomotive The mycelium feeds off the carbohydrates in the grain. When those get depleted, the fungus will stop producing fruit. There is a point at which the harvest will not be worth the risk of having an old cake around that will become more prone to contamination as it ages.
@@edwardgrand couple more questions sir! How long does an average grow go for? Or how long does it take before it gets too risky for contamination? or i guess if i had the north spore kit what should i expect out of a mono tub as far as yield with a 3 pound bag of grain? 4-5 flushes? You've been super helpful answering my questions, I'm still a newb and learning so I'm curious of how i know when i got my moneys worth of all the grain consumed by the mycelium and when i should start a new tub with fresh grain and substrate
@@MrBsAutomotive 1.5 months. 3 flushes. I'm not familiar with North Spore products. You should move towards making your own grain spawn. Buying kits and ready-made products gets expensive fast. You can find me on any Social Media. Same name. Easier to help there. Cheers!

I personally find these way more attractive than mutant/albinos. Love them.
Beautiful tub
Your an inspiration Ed! I've learned so much from your honest, no bullshit approach. A breath of fresh air!
Fantastic looking fruits
I love my big brown cubes! Albinos are cool, but I prefer some color. Thanks Ed! Always nice to wake up to a post from the Doctor. ☮️💚🌱🍄

There is still infinite possible variation in B-positive. We all know Wombat? Well... it's all there in the spores.

Great video. What do you use for liners?
Cheap garbage bags.

If you were to sell me a spore syringe or whatever it may be how much would it cost? I would really like to grow those out those are beautiful!
I don't sell syringes.

Have you done Purple Mystic?
Yes. Another basic cube. But I like basic cubes :)
I just inoculated some grain with it and was just curious about them. There's surprisingly not many videos on that specific strain. Are they aggressive?
@PunkChef77 They're just like any other cube. 99% of that stuff about cultigen specificity is matketing. People like something different.
Are these to get you high or for eating?
Is that just vermiculite as casing layer? Does that work for Pe6, or should I get peat moss?

What is that is the flask behind the tub?
Nevermind. I should have finished the video before asking. Lol
Any recipes for manure + coir substrates ?
No, I just started messing with manure and Pans. I put in about 10% by volume. But for cubes, I just use CV.

Hey Ed, I made sun tea. But I think I left it out too long (3 days). I think I made fermented tea. Can I still drink it??
Could be Kombucha now? I think if it smells OK, it should be fine??? Maybe a bit alcoholic or sour now?
