its been at least ten years. I was in my mid 20s when this episode came out and it somehow floated up in my recommended again. I have since gone back and revisited some of the previous episodes and can only say. those were the days.
Anyone noticed that the red block from the command center actually desappeared from the minimap in the very end.. so the command center was destroyed with the last shots but the roach warren went down just a second before.. so no building was left alive.. EPIC
This is why I love lagtv over any other starcraft channel. These "diamond in the rough" games never get seen on pro channels. Holy crap, that was EPIC!
NovaWar says idea: "Closest game ever" Jeff has to try to force a base-race scenario. Basically build an army, and maybe keep it hidden somewhere, and can't attack their base until they start destroying his base.
It actually is, in a certain way. Mules are strong when a player takes out a lot of terran workers, it allows the terran to remain in the game even after losing a ton of scvs. Just like zerg makes it easy to drone up all at once, and protoss makes it easy to catch up with chrono when you know youre behind.
I think LAGTV should have another section of their SC2 casts entitled "LAGTV's OMG Moments", to include close games, spectacular fails (with or without fail signs) and nuke singing. Ah, nuke singing...those were some good times.
Pretty sure you couldn't make a spore crawler without an evolution chamber back when this game was submitted. There was a patch update that made it possible to build spore crawlers without them, but it wasn't always the case.
JailHouse Caesarean section- will hopefully be up on urban dictonary tomorrow- i will link to and take any sugestions for revisions once it passes the editors.
But you forgot to remember that Terran's main units tend to have low health and need be really cost efficient for them to really work, not to mention that terran needs to waste a ton more resources to keep on production when toss needs at most 9 gates in an average game, Zerg needs hatches and Terran needs 12 rax with tech labs and reactors. Also, consider that Terran doesn't have how to warp instantly units across the map or are not fast enough to deny the distance traveled.
Even after that one, when you went down to try and repair the cc, you could have used one mule to repair the factory that was left up there, and float that one away.
Buoyancy: The ability or tendency to float in water or other fluid. Density: The degree of compactness of a substance. I suppose that density could play a factor, but I am still pretty sure I meant buoyancy. That's what the Mythbusters tested anyway if I recall correctly.
Buoyancy is a force that is opposite of weight. If an object's buoyancy is greater than it's weight, it will float. Any objects buoyancy is determined by the density of the FLUID it's submerged in, not the density of the object itself.
mules are there to counteract the fact that SCVs lose mining time to build structures. erg can replace drones in mass and 1 probe can rebuild can entire base by itself.
in Titanic: I heard the reason he didn't climb on the board is that if they were both on the board one of them would be getting wet at all times which would give hypothermia and kill that person
Mythbusters actually "proved" that the door wouldn't have been buoyant enough to support their combined weight. It's not an issue of size. It's buoyancy vs. weight.
but both P and Z can re-max armies almost instantaniously, where terran has to wait. Almost ALL spash effects (storm and fungal) obliterate bio balls, and while mules help T in the early game, it helps to balance the face that both P and Z can get more workers much, much more quickly. You take out mules, T can't do nothing. P can chrono probes at start, or if they die, and Z just makes 15 drones at once. Yes, they mine you more inerals, but in late game, it means you don't HAVE any minerals
^^^^ This exactly. Don't forget to mention the fact that probes and drones cost minerals and more importantly supply, meaning 100 extra spent for every 8 workers to take advantage of injects and chrono's. Mules are totally free, in minerals and supply, are far more valuable than a single worker in their lifetime, and you can stockpile 4 of them at a time to reward terrans with shitty apm. Every second missed on an inject hurts a zerg throughout the game.
the water for the test with them trying to float on the door temperature didn't matter because they already had the data needed for how long they could survive for. Now if they were trying to float in fresh water instead of salt water then yes that might have made a difference.

God I love this channel, this is why I stay subbed to these guys.

2018 and still the most mvp banshee ever.
Thanks :)
2021 and still the most mvp banshee ever.
this is where "jailhouse c section" was born
Legendary, freaking legendary.
Still funny years later
Jailhouse C-Section is on Urban Dictionary
It wasn't before this episode though. Every single one on there references Novawar or Adam
Great cast - LAG TV at it's best, we had some casting, a shit load of jokes, a Kermit pic, the JAILHOUSE C-SECTION!
Epic!
THE ENDING has gotta be one of the funniest thngs I've ever seen ahahahahahahahhh
Im back to enjoy nostalgia. Its March 6, 2017 and this stuff is still great :)
Lagtv is becoming a new level of awesome
This is why I love lagtv over any other starcraft channel. These "diamond in the rough" games never get seen on pro channels. Holy crap, that was EPIC!
this was epic
EPIC close base race!
LOL I love how you took the picture of Kermit from above to make it look more naughty
Jailhouse c-section & a great game/ cast.
Come on guys.... you missed like 5 minutes of player chat gold!
05:55 That bunker he was trying so hard to save was filled with only 1 marine and 3 SCVs.
NovaWar says idea: "Closest game ever"
Jeff has to try to force a base-race scenario. Basically build an army, and maybe keep it hidden somewhere, and can't attack their base until they start destroying his base.
I think it's fantastic that I go to UD two days later and jailhouse c-section has pages of definitions and thumbs up. Now that's netfluence.
I'd say that it does count the object's density too, because it depends from both sides.
one the best lagtv and sc2 cast EVER!!!
It actually is, in a certain way. So many instant classics in one episode. This episode is epic.
I think LAGTV should have another section of their SC2 casts entitled "LAGTV's OMG Moments", to include close games, spectacular fails (with or without fail signs) and nuke singing.
Ah, nuke singing...those were some good times.
He should have used the mule on the other buildings farther away.
I only had a command center. Nothing else to repair.
Max Clax You are a StarCraft legend.
so close that Kermit . . . came
7:03 BUILD A SPORE CRAWLER.
Pretty sure you couldn't make a spore crawler without an evolution chamber back when this game was submitted. There was a patch update that made it possible to build spore crawlers without them, but it wasn't always the case.
Once again, you boys have exceeded all expectations and made some genuine comedy gold. Thank you!
100+ cookies to adam for Jailhouse c-section. Lagtv is amazing keep 'em coming guys.
He earned that win. He really did.
Those were the luckyiest burning 2HPs of all times.
JailHouse Caesarean section- will hopefully be up on urban dictonary tomorrow- i will link to and take any sugestions for revisions once it passes the editors.
Oh my - that Kermit pic is EPIC!!! I laughed so hard that snot flew all over the table! Great cast there fellows
No grand masters league or high skilled player game was as tense as those final seconds. WOW that was..... WOW
Most epic win of the season bro!
such an amazing game.. laughed my head off at the end of it... still can't believe how close it was...
Even after that one, when you went down to try and repair the cc, you could have used one mule to repair the factory that was left up there, and float that one away.
Epicly close. Zerg should go and make an extractor somewhere if he was all in.
Looks like Kermit is more than OK to me. He looks pretty damn happy! lol
Buoyancy: The ability or tendency to float in water or other fluid.
Density: The degree of compactness of a substance.
I suppose that density could play a factor, but I am still pretty sure I meant buoyancy. That's what the Mythbusters tested anyway if I recall correctly.
Yes, look at the mini-map.
Kermit putting in work
The shrieking! Breaking things! Kermit are you ok?
GG Epic Kermit pic at end
Most. Epic. Video. Ever.
Please make a Lagtv Classic playlist that includes the close games, and fire to blaze.
super epic with that ending !
Oh, and I laughed until I cried at the Kermit picture

they could call it the "clutch match catch of the year!" sounds cool dontyathink ?
mules are there to counteract the fact that SCVs lose mining time to build structures. erg can replace drones in mass and 1 probe can rebuild can entire base by itself.
in Titanic: I heard the reason he didn't climb on the board is that if they were both on the board one of them would be getting wet at all times which would give hypothermia and kill that person
Guys, please do tired casts more. This is gold.
Jailhouse C-section is not a thing on urban dictionary! You Mr. Nova War, are going to be the most famous man to ever live!!!!!
You guys had another super close game that was awesome and you x2 sped it up, gg
Even Kermit the Frog gets SKEETED ON!
For the past few weeks I've been wondered why Adam's Kermit was RIGHT next to his conspicuously GIANT bottle of Vaseline lotion... hurm.
Jailhouse C-Section is not yet defined on Urban Dictionary!!! Adam you have officially coined another phrase! Geeeee Geeeee
I like how Jailhouse C-Section is now in Urban Dictionary
Yo Kermit, hit me up with that sign son!
How can you watch LagTV without sound. I mean the best part is hearing Jeff and Adam
i missed this stuff
Mythbusters actually "proved" that the door wouldn't have been buoyant enough to support their combined weight. It's not an issue of size. It's buoyancy vs. weight.
Wait...I know why Adam has lotion by his desk...hehehe ;) Kermit's getting a full view of all that action 24/7.
Like a high five in the face.
Pretty sure his additional weight would have caused the board (I think it was a door) to sink.
Please make a playlist of all you "closest games." These need to be documented and easily accessable for all starcraft players, current and future.
The Terran really should have lifted off his Command Centre earlier. What a finish though.
fun fact: Lag TV has caused 4-5 different urban dictionary pages to be made.
Technically, like 20, but 16 of them are jailhouse c-sections.
Red I believe. Because it said the blue guy had left the game and red still had 1 HP on the CC
Best game ever, jumped out of my chair was so stupid funny
nothing makes me laugh like these videos
I love banshees so much.
but both P and Z can re-max armies almost instantaniously, where terran has to wait. I lost it at the last missile. Then Kermit came on and I think I lost a few ribs.
what an understatement...rofl 2 infinty outro xD
^^^^ This exactly. LOL dat pic at the end lol GG
Hatchery cost 300 + 50 for the drone + the larva + the lost mining of the sacrificed drone.
Jailhouse C-Section had yet to be coined. Just submitted to Urban Dictionary and is currently being reviewed by editors.
Also no, a jailhouse c-section is not a thing yet.... get on it sir! GET ON IT!!
I laughed soooo hard at the kermit picture, good god..
if an all-in fails, you can't come back, that's kind of the point of the name... all in
Spine Crawler vs. Zergling...flabergasted in the corner.
Yes. Look at the minimap.
holy cow 7 hp left on the CC
You guys have got to do a closest game ending series after this one lol
Holy shit! They've been pumping out some epic content lately
This is amazing
the water for the test with them trying to float on the door temperature didn't matter because they already had the data needed for how long they could survive for. Now if they were trying to float in fresh water instead of salt water then yes that might have made a difference.
Man, that was amazing
This is the most hilarious game.
thank you so much, sir for the amazing game.
wow such an amazing game
you guys should do a down to the wire series!!!
You should make a playlist of videos of closest games on your channel.
epic clutch win man
my body was not ready.
Oh my, now I'm crying from laughing so hard lol. You guys are epic!
