Great room. Love the fact that you don’t care that’s your gear is entry level and not audiophile as do I. If it sounds great and you’re happy, brilliant. I’m exactly the same. It’s all about the music. Take care my friend.
A very nice tour, Rob. I used to have a vinyl collection a little larger than yours but I got rid of it in the mid-90s when CDs were proving to be much better than the vinyl record and record stores weren't accepting returns. You have a nice basic stereo system, the direct drive turntable is the way to go. I used to have a Technics SL-1200 and changed the cartridge twice and the stylus annually.
Awesome room and killer guitar collection, you should do a video showing your talent, I know I would be interested and I’m sure I’m not the only VC member who would be.. Nice vinyl collection and killer memorabilia as well.. Your music room looks very comfy and it’s very inviting.. I have a music corner😂 Thanks again for the tour🤘🏻 Craig
Thanks for breaking down the fourth wall, Rob! As I’ve said several times, always love that you have a product from my town with Warmoth. Right across the street from where my daughter gets tutored. Awesome room and inspiring me to clean up mine!😄
Excellent video Rob! I love record room tour videos and a super bonus looking at a fellow guitarists collection. I love the Tele wall, interestingly I also have a ‘78 butterscotch tele with black guard. I’m same as you, I don’t go in for audiophile, I just need a decent sound where I can enjoy the music. Great collection and really comfortable listening area. Thanks for showing. Mike
Ok ok I won’t ride you on the bookshelf speaker on the surface as you are probably using them for ballgames ect(love the BlueJays chair). The the main speakers are in the sitting room is great and away for the turntable! Btw bet your turntable is from mid-80’s looking at the style! I love that era and both my tables are mid-80s too! Need to get those dividers since they’re cool! And all my main collection albums are in dual pocket sleeves and have inner sleeves too from CSS! Amazing product! Cool with all the photos you took and other memorabilia! You have a real addiction with the guitars! Can’t have enough! Very cool to see the additions to the room Rob!
Love the room Rob!!! Loaded with great memories and stories. Set lists is a cool touch. I’d like to hear the story behind the Adam Baldwin Lyrics some time. The seat from the sky dome is pretty rad. What’s the story on the hockey stick hiding in the corner? Does it have a Habs connection?
@@YoungLPLovers no cool story behind the Baldwin lyrics. I bought them off his website. He had a limited number available and you could pick the song. Im going to be seeing Adam in three weeks. Im hoping he’ll record an intro for my channel. He’s watched before.
Me again. Just wanted to say that my rant was not ment to be harsh criticism but advice or information. U do u and if that system does all it needs to for u then great. I have been into quality audio from a young age and bought my first true audio system at 15. I am a believer in upgrading and improving as time goes on and one can hear the difference. My belief is that we spend so much on our vinyl and cd collecting that we must not forget to spend some on what we listen to it through. Audiophile has always been a term that most ppl think of as negative or dumb. As a former salesman I came across this all the time. “You’re just wanting a bigger sale”, “ That’s just voodoo and expensive crap that’s not necessary” so on and so on. These statements are far from true and what we can hear in our heads through better built equipment and better cables , better cartridges etc does make sense and a huge difference. One begins to hear their music in a more complete and accurate way. Smiles form immediately and a new found love for our records appears. Cheers 🍻. Oh I would have to remove all those pics and guitars 🎸 off the wall to place my records and shelving lol. U have seen Embryonic’s wall of vinyl right well that’s me too😅
Its all good. I found your comments informative. Not harsh at all. No worries. I dont believe in the audiophile thing at all. But for those who like the audiophile aspect, more power to them. My ears arent great. I have tinnitus. I dont detect many of the subtleties. I may look at a little better speakers but beyond that the returns would be imperceptible to me. I love what I have and sounds good in my room. I enjoyed reading your perspective and its always welcome.
Hey Rob , cool room but it’s way too clean and organized to really be a true “man-cave” 😊. All that aside, yes you Yamaha system is good and would be considered slightly better than average and great value and sound for its price. I sold Yamaha and many other audio/video equipment from 92’-2001 and if folks had a budget but wanted quality then products like Denon, Marantz and yours were my suggestions. I own that exact receiver and still use it in a second system upstairs, my man cave has a substantially more audiophile and expensive setup. My only suggestion is to upgrade those speakers. I know that small speakers will not deliver the full spectrum of sounds and details that your vinyl can deliver. Larger floor speakers with larger cabinets will always out perform (dollar for dollar) small tiny shelf speakers. I did see u have floor speakers but Technics is not know for a quality product, perhaps turntables but with a little looking and a little cash u could easily improve. That’s all , oh and let’s see more empty beer cans and pizza boxes around the room next time. No more tidiness lol. 😆.
Its always clean and spotless. Im a little OCD that way. Its also my office for my day job so I gotta keep it clean for productivity sake. I may look into some better speakers.
Beautiful space. Comfortable and classy. Well 👍 done. Greg
Thanks Greg. I enjoy it and am pretty proud of it.
Outstanding! I especially love your collection of autographed memorabilia. Pure love, I'm overjoyed that you shared it.
Thanks for the Etsy link. I ordered a set!
Awesome Zach. Did you get a custom Kid Rock one? LOL

Thanks! Yes it is all about the music. Some folks get too caught up in the gear like its some kind of status thing. Just listen to the music.
Love the clean look and guitars on the wall
Thanks!
Many thanks! Love the room🤘
@@dimebagdave77 thanks for watching.
Great tour. Love the listening room. Good stuff my friend.
Thanks!
The Room looks awesome Rob. Nice job!
Thanks Chris
Lots of Blue Rodeo and Swift. No surprise haha. Nice to see the room where the business happens.
Thanks Sam
Beautiful room. I couldn't help but notice the greatest prog rock album of all time when you showed the records.
Thanks! And that album is essential for any collection 🤣
Love the update brother! Very, very, nice space. I had only watched the original as of late, so cool to see what's new and changed. 🙂
Thanks Joe.
Great tour my friend!! This always my favorite VC videos!! \m/
Thanks Brandon
Nice! You created a nice cozy room where you can work and play, sweet!
Thanks John

Hey Craig. Thanks for watching. Talent? You assume I have any. Im an average rhythm guitar player at best. Nobody wants to see that.

Thanks Trevor. Glad you enjoyed it. Thought of you when I was showing the guitars
This is unreal Rob. So well put together. The video and the room. Next level 🤘🏼

Exactly! Just has to sound nice. That audiophile stuff….I dont get it. Cool that you have a butterscotch 78 as well. I had no idea! Love it.
And, of course, wearing shorts. Cool room tour.
But of course!

Ya the bookshelf speakers are rarely used. And when I do use them, no issues yet. Glad you enjoyed to tour Matt.

You bet it does Curtis. Game used and autographed by Patrice Brisbois

How many records fit in one of the cubes?
About 50
Ok Ty
A lot of Fender. I miss Gibson because I think they are even more beautiful and better
I find Fender much more comfortable to play and nothing beats the versatility of Telecaster.
do you sell any merch?
@@AS-dj7cg not yet. Working on that
