Very helpful, especially for someone like me who's watching a ton of Lexapro vids to educate myself..
    Thank you

Thx for your honesty! I'm really surprised you get tired on 10mg - in comparison, I still felt anxious even after 1.5 month of using Lexapro, so doc increased my dosage to 15mg and most probably we'll go to 20mg. But we're all different, and this is normal. I wish it made me more calm, but so far, 10mg made just a little difference for me, so looking fwd :) Stay strong, man! All the good time ahead, Lexapro is that kind of med, that takes really time for it to kick properly in.

Happy to report that at this time the fatigue has subsided! This week has been particularly rough though and I've had bad depression and anxiety. However I believe it's not related to the medication, but circumstances. Thanks for the encouragement!

@@socalexplorer5033 I feel I'm more anxious especially when I wake up in the morning. It goes away after 2 to 3 hours of taking the tablet. I am still anxious but not having a panic attack. I only experience panic when I'm in a social situation. Decreased libido as well. I'm yawning a lot. Little dizzy but doesn't stay long.

@@vinselvin The same symtoms for me.
      I use xanax along.
I used escitalopram for 2 years in the past for anxiety and depression and it helped a lot.
Stopped for nine months and I am back again with massive anxiety. The thing us I had this since a young kid but 3 years ago I treated it)
The thing is i am on 2.5mg and made me worse.I quit 2 times.Doctor said I go for 1.25 for a week and use xanax along.
The strange part is when I first started escitalopram in 2018 I went from 2.5mg for 2 days to 5mg for 2 days and straight to 10mg without any panic attacks, just tiredness. But I used it along xanax.
So I am doing the same again now because I cannot stand the panic attacks it is giving me.It is the third day now on 1.25mg.I hope everything goes well.
P.s: My doctor let me know that I can have a dna test which will reveal the proper medicine for me.Look it up.
I will go ahead and do it just to be sure.

Hello im from Philippines and I just want to share about my journey through this hyperhidrosis which is excessive sweating in my face it will only active when I'm nervous so basically I have a anxiety that's what my doctor said and it's so hard for my entire years in elementary to highschool it's always been laughing and bullying because I'm sweating in the face when we have a performance of reporting in school and earlier I just consult with a doctor and gave me a escitalopram and I really hope it will help me with my anxiety and end my nightmares.

@@88Dionisio I've heard from many others that it takes about 4-6 weeks to start seeing results. Although my experience was vastly differen't, I still had the mindset of not changing dose unless I literally felt 0 improvements. Personally, I think therapy has helped me just as much to be able to process my thoughts and learn about anxiety in general.

I hate my DOCTOR, when I was very little they wanted to give me medication for school just SCHOOL. So my doc gave me 50 mg of Zoloft 50 wtf, it was horrible after a while I got dependent on it. Then I took it for 2 years mf 2 years at the age of 13 then she said you know what let’s jump from 100 mg to 150 mg so I did that but I was little at the time 😭 now about after 3 years of taking it I stopped it and now after 5 months I still feel weird like weirder thank before I took the meds and I don’t remember shit. These meds are so so so so so dangerous and make u dependent so they can get there money. I now am on lexapro because of the Sertaline withdrawls they have impacted my mind so much but my memory is gone I just want to take a little bit of lexapro for a month and see how it goes
