Oh man, I bought this game on my Android phone and made sure I beat it quickly so I could see the end and then watch Holly do it and oh boy I'm excited
it's so much worse than "darth vader because he's an invader". vader means father in german. it's right up there with "schwarz bruder" from g gundam. like, wow, i wonder what his secret identity is.
Georg Lucas was 100% not thinking that far ahead. he absolutely did not come up with the idea for Vader to be Luke's dad until well after A New Hope was completed.
I normally don’t really like stories that pull the “Surprise! All the supernatural stuff had a logical explanation!” twist, but I do have a major soft spot for those like the Layton games that go “Oh, of course it’s not supernatural, that would be ridiculous!” and then whip out the most batshit explanation possible that ends up being exponentially more wild than if it was actually supernatural.
I really think it needs to be said how masterfully Holly stalled for time while trying to find the Joker Beatboxing video
