Crappie is one of the main fish I've been working on trying to get better at catching. This technique might be what I've been looking for to try out. I tried bobber stops for jig fishing but I realized I was doing it all wrong. Thanks for the video!
We use those as well, but the only place that sells them is bass pro, and I don’t live too close to there. So I’m not driving out to bass pro just to get em. Since I make my own Baits. I can pick up split shots, and minnow hooks at Walmart. So I usually don’t have a reason to go to the tackle shop.
Awesome I’ve been doing lots of crappie fishing now every Friday Saturday I’m dedicated to lake time , thank you for knowledge wisdom and understanding buddy..!!!
Yes ma’am. I just try to produce well for the channel. I have become spoiled. I try to educate myself nonstop and always put myself in the best position to do well. This is less of that and more just showing up where anyone can go. But you’re right, I’m still catching.
I actually caught several more small Croppie, several more drum, and a catfish. Just didn’t want to make this video any longer. Kind of filler content.
Apparently, I’ve been using improved clinch wrong! I always go through and back through the loop at bottom not at top if that makes since? But from now on will do like yours!
If you go through the loop at the bottom at the end, your tag and will stick out and be pokey, if you go out through the loop at the top, your tag and will be against the line
Instead of a bobber stop try a clear plastic twist on bobber you can place water in it to add weight the twist on bobber you can change the depth very quickly a lot easier!!!!!
Not sure if a bobber style you are talking about would be best in 13’ of water, trying to picture it but it sounds like a fixed bobber. If so couldn’t cast it with that much line below
Hey everyone! Please help me out with the TH-cam AI and give this video a 👍..... Thank Y'all, tight lines!

Aye bro, I don't have a boat or a kayak. Videos like this, fishing from the bank is really what guys like me look for. PLEASE DO MORE 👏🏽👍🏽👌🏽
It’s coming!!! Those fish just aren’t close to the bank in summer. Low oxygen in shallow water when it’s hot.
Bank fishing is awesome. I've been getting a bunch of soft bites lately. Those drum get your heart racing. Great Video!!
We need to go hit that pond you fish
Always a pleasure watching your vids. Always have a problem with slip bobbers. Thanks for the advice my friend.
Thanks for watching Mike!
Those drum are good eatin'!
thank you Sir, learned a ton of info! Still hunting for my first crappie!
I use the little black rubber stoppers, they slide up and down the line and make casting quite easy.

@@BarFlyFishingTexas I get mine at Rural King and Walmart. Everybody has a walmart nearby

Drums are good eating fish.
No
Nice Catches and I like your Fishing Hat. 🎩 It looks kinda California Style instead of Texan Style. 🤠
Them drum get on my nerves this time of year. Nice work

It would be awesome if you would show us the rig!! Put the camera and show us how looks to help us. You just did it but didn’t show us how
Good feedback, I’ll make another video showing set ups and better rigging techniques. Concentrate on that aspect of it for you guys.
my bobber stopper always slides up n down after some time when casting hitting the guides do you have any suggestions to keep it from sliding?
Good job man! Great tips

@@BarFlyFishingTexas Absolutely I get it, great stuff! I Learn everyday.
Hi, can you tell me the name of the hook and the size please? Thank you for the info, greatly appreciated.
Nice video, where did you get your livescope transducer pole and mounts.
Seelite is the brand.

What size of hook you prefer ?
Well it's time to start that band you got Drums lol great tips tho brother keep wetting them Hooks
Awesome. Terry what’s the best time if the day right now for bank fishing? And what about the bank under a bridge?
What type of rod are you using?
Nice footage
Would this also work with jigs?
Yes.
Nice video. I subbed
Thank you.
Nice! Looks like ray roberts?
Where did you get that hat
Bass Pro in Florida
😊
Where can I get that hat it is awesome
Bass Pro. It’s a HUK
Do I need a 9ft crappie rod or can I just use a regular 7ft spinning rod?
Depends on how you are fishing. For what I’m doing in this video, any Rod length will work fine.
@@BarFlyFishingTexas Thank You!!
WE NEED TO GO FISHING SOON BUDDY
Rubber bobber stops don't slid on your line like the thread bobber stops do.....once you use the rubber ones, you'll leave the thread ones alone....
True. Availability of the rubber ones is limited so info on thread ones is more valuable to variety of viewer locations. But I agree
Drum is good eating
Full moon
yo! i think i know where your at!!!
I like slip bobbers but they need to come out with a more aerodynamic shape that the line does not loop around on the cast from the bank.
Yep, I get tangled up a lot as welll.
Those are the worst bobber stoppers, use the plastic(rubber) ones that looks like tiny little football.
What you really need to learn is how to tie a bobber knot.
Where are the dawgs? Bunch of little ones.
Next vid, already filmed...editing
@@BarFlyFishingTexas can’t wait. Love your videos man.
C
I need to get good enough at fishing to be able to complain about catching non target fish
if it 13 feet deep you should be fishing 11 feet
