- In this video, I Crappie Fishing In a small creek. We are creek crappie fishing from bank. We catch a crappie almost on every cast, but there is just one problem. The bigger creek crappie haven't moved into this small creek yet. I am crappie fishing with a jig and bobber. It is that time of year to start crappie fishing creeks, you never know until you try it out! We did end the day with 6 keeper crappie. Cody is going to give me a shout when the big females move into this small creek, and we are going to have a blast!

This is probably my favorite video u posted. Love the bank fishing videos. Miss bank fishing sometimes but wouldn't trade it for the boat any day lol. Also love them acc rods. Use a 13 foot cork handle 90% of the time
What’s the trick to finding creeks that hold crappie? I’m in south eastern Ohio and would love find some local streams. Great video!
My best advice to that question is look for the main feeder creeks/rivers that feed into the lake on the northern and western side of the lake. These creeks will typically hold crappie in the winter. Thanks for watching! God bless

I honestly have had a hard time finding durable 6 pound mono. But ACC now has copolymer line and I use the 6 pound now! Definitely a better fight. I also used 10 because I white bass fish for them in creeks with along snags etc.

Crappie fish at night use live minnow also light up your night green lights work best!! Fish like the green lights it's easy on there eyes they come up and right under your boat!! It's sweet like taking candy from a baby👍

I needs to start fishing the creeks here. I never do cause of the mosquitoes but they shouldn’t be in there yet since it’s still cold. I haven’t had any luck in the main river that leads to the creek. I was having luck with black and pink tubes but haven’t used any cause I haven’t went and bought any lol

I'll be hitting the creeks next weekend. We got rain for a full 24 hrs plus two to three inches of snow in North Texas. I don't about down there. But man oh man I am excited due to the water will be there even more.
Question.. creeks for crappie, is best to find ones coming outside of a lake? First time creek'n for crappie.

Does the Creek bite seem early this year for you guys down there or is this about the normal time of year?
When the creek temperature hits in the 60’s you can start finding crappie. Creek warms up faster then main lake. And Shad come in the creeks in the winter! They follow the Shad! It should only get better from here!

@@dlogan3004 . . . . No , not the same. Different markings and the " Black Bass " get darker and have a larger mouth. Also referred to as Large mouth here in Oklahoma .

My only trophy bass is a 8lb 2oz Spot caught a pumkin seed 3/4oz flippin jig with a chartreuse tipped craw in the middle of February. 27 degrees that morning lol I only put 6 fish in the boat that day but all were over 4lbs
