Both are very fast.
Iphones camera is marginally better.
IPhones are much better optimised and recieve software updates for much longer.

I love my all screen display on the OnePlus 7 pro, I don't feel like this is much of an upgrade. I'll wait till something revolutionary comes out.
I'm also a 7 pro user, and I agree. The only type of front-facing camera that's better than a popup camera is an under-screen camera.

Still using the OnePlus 8 pro in 2022 and it's very solid! I don't really use the 120hz display or the wireless Warp charging, mainly because I don't have the wireless charger for it lol But I've really enjoyed using this phone, just waiting on Android 12 to arrive ANYTIME now. 🙂🤞
Lew, still rock'n the OnePlus 5t I bought due to your advise. Really says a lot for a 3 year old phone to still be usable and the battery life on my old 5t still killing it too, can't say enough how impressed I have been with this device.

I've had my One+Plus 7T for 2 years and it rocks! Battery still very strong. The big camera bezel is okay, tends to collect fingerprints. Need to wipe prior to snapping photos.
If there was ever one feature I could easily live without its wireless charging! How friggin hard is it to plug in a USB-C cable that goes in perfect every single time, unlike older USB cables? It literally takes one second! I just do not get why people make such a big deal about it!

I have the 7 pro. Best phone I've ever had going all the way back to the G1 back in the early 2000's . Just upgraded to the 8 yesterday, waiting on the mail.

@@MrLicoriceTree it's grown on me, different dimensions took awhile to get used, it's not as easy to hold with one hand..less weight, easier to carry in your pocket which is a plus. As far as the interface it's just about exactly the same. Camera is a smidge better, nothing crazy.

Hundreds of OnePlus pro 8 users, including me, are having problems with a green tint in TH-cam and Netflix (and other streaming apps) while using it in low brightness. Its a turnoff and OnePlus is not fixing it... You have any tips for us? I love OnePlus but watch TH-cam and Netflix in bed and this sucks...

Nice comparison - the only unanswered question is how good is the warp wireless charging as this requires the OnePlus super dooper wireless charger and so far this isn’t either available or no reviewer has one. It would be nice to see this in operation to see if it actually stands up to the claims.

Based on the prices I've found for the 8 pro and 8 here in Sweden (which for some reason didn't have the colors I wanted on the cheaper versions?) It's a 230 USD difference, and I personally feel that the only difference between them that I'd appreciate is the wireless charging, but I'm not feeling it's worth 230 USD, especially if I've gotta pay another 80 USD for the wireless warp charger. I'm going with the non-pro

I have the 7t pro and as someone that upgrades every 2 years to the best thing that I can get I don’t think that the 8 is really worth it . 120hz isn’t much different from 90hz to most eyes and the pop up camera is something that I forget about because it’s just so flawless, I got it when it came out and I’m blown away still every time I use it
Idk if you really want the best go for the 8pro but if you want just a tremendous phone then I suggest the 7t pro
Couldn't have said it better... the 7T Pro has a full uninterrupted screen, and this new one doesn't. That is a clear downgrade in my book.
