@@freekomo2172 There are two sides to every story. Dr. Berg provides valuable medical advice for free on social media platforms. Whatever is going on in his private life should be private. It's terrible for a son to undermine his dad in public. If something criminal was actually done then that should be handled in the correct fashion and not on social media.

I have never been constipated and that is even when I've had to take pain medication in the past. My sister on the other hand, has always had the opposite problem. A couple months ago she was real sick for a couple of months throwing up throwing up. I kept telling her to go to the doctor finally, one night she felt so ill she thought she was dying. She called the ambulance got to the hospital and they started running tests on her. Well she had a blocked colon and her sugar was 538. Needless to say, she was in the hospital for about 2 weeks and as a part of doing all this work, up they found a mass on the head of her pancreas. So, I do believe what you're saying about constipation not being a disease in itself but being part of whatever is going on in your body. I believe that because of this mass on the head of the pancreas, caused her sugar to go up and caused her bowel blockage. Now on this coming Monday she has to have surgery to take out the cancer. Fortunately, because of this blockage they found it early and as far as they can see, it has not spread anywhere else. Which is is extremely unusual for this type of cancer. Everybody has to listen to what their body is telling them. And if you know what to look for then you can take care of the problem. So I'm glad I did listen to this video. Thank you.

Thank you all for your concern and your prayers. And to the doctor who introduced me to this diet and even though I've had problems with the diet. Initially I lost weight on the program. I have so many health problems myself that I do believe I gain weight from the medicine I take. I believe mine has to do with hormones too. But bless you all for thinking of my sister.. I'm crying right now as I send this message to you all who have given me a thumbs up or replied. . It's been more devastating to me than anything else that I've had to deal with with my own health. My sister's diagnosis has really devastated me.. She is so scared because she has had one surgery in her life and it's when she was seven. I've had six surgeries on each of my knees and my gallbladder removed two c-sections spinal fusion, So you see, if I could do it for her I would. God bless you all.

I had the worst diarrhea in 2019. I can't tell you how often I slept in the bathroom that year. GI could not figure it out. I developed Dysautonomia around June. Diagnosed with Gastroparesis in September.
2020 hit and was in the reverse situation. We tried to troubleshoot with meds (otc and rx) until I couldn't do it anymore and was insistent something was wrong. I didn't have any bowel movements from Sept to Nov. Turns out my colon doesn't work because of nerve damage. I've had a total of 3 bowel movements since December. My GI sent me to a colorectal surgeon. Waiting for additional testing and to come up a game plan in June.

Thank you! This is the most helpful advice and information I've ever received from the internet community. Ever. It's precise and concise. I have nothing but respect for this man when it comes to patient care...typically missing in modern medicine 'dispensers'. I know believe most GPs are 'receptionists' for a huge medical cartel, they know only how to direct human bodies to pharmaceuticals, specialists and surgeons. In the olden days, the average GP knew and understood even the patients home life and current stress levels and, thus, could better understand symptoms, and could critically assess their patients more effectively prior to calling in specialists or recommending surgery or pharma meds. Today? A GP barely recognizes a patient in the street...they either don't know them as humans or they aren't just aren't interested,

I used to eat horribly as a child by school food and Indian commodities. I was always constipated and never told anyone. I would go several days without a BM and even then it was not a comfortable thing or even match the amount of food I took in. This continued into my early adult years. I went to the doctor and er so many times in my early 20s with horrible pain in my stomach that radiated to my back and down my legs. The doctors would just send me home with pain meds because they didn't know why but they also didn't do any tests at all! Finally one doctor did an xray which shown constipation. She told me to eat activia, fiber bars, and stay away from bananas. Still to this day that makes zero sense. They referred me because I told them I had bloody stools all the time and did a colonoscopy which showed nothing. But at least my bowels were cleared out from the laxatives! So I began to just pray about it and one time I seen a picture of a banana on pinterest and it said 5 things you should eat. Now why would the doctor and pinterest both tell me to stay away from bananas lol. (I grew up in Hawaii the the first 2years of my life, mangoes and bananas all day everyday and for sure wasn't constipated according to my parents!) So I clicked on the pinterest photo and it wasn't telling me not to eat bananas, it was saying do not eat GMOs, processed food, pop, processed sugars, etc. So I switched immediately to eating grains, fruits, vegetables, organic, local, foraging, hunting wild game and local fishing. Just back to eating what I ate before I was fed government food. I no longer have any issues! It's videos like this one that have helped me the past 8 years, not fiber bars! Which btw cause horrible gas and you still won't have a BM! I even enjoy eating bananas!

I love all of your posts. But I would argue that water consumption will affect bowel performance far more than fiber. Worked for big pharma for 13 years. I trained retailers on gastrointestinal health. That does not make me a med focused person but it did educate me on general lower bowel digestion. I get the need for fiber and veg based vitamins... but water consumption moves bowels faster than anything. Low fluid= constipation.

Another great video, doc. I'll be doing a 7 day fast soon as I know my body needs it. Despite being on a OMAD program I still feel a bit constipated, although eating less has made a massive positive difference. Also, I am glad you mentioned the nervous system. Many of probably don't realize that we are stuck in survival/sympathetic mode, and have simply adapted to living this way. It is however the state of dis-ease, should we remain in this state for too long. I am currently working more with my vagus nerve by way of emotional-thought work, as well as acupressure, qi-gong, yoga and generally getting my body feeling that it is safe and secure and can relax and be at-ease. Rob H. - I loved that he mentioned the parasympathetic information too. I'm learning the relax state of mind myself. I have faith in Jesus. So then I could take the love, deliverance and promises He has for us to calm myself. I then had peace and I focused that into my body to heal from abuse, I am now out of. I was trained to tense my body when I wasn't being treated right. I didn't realize how important the parasympathetic nervous system is and what chronic stress can do to us. So now I am retraining myself to consciously relax my stomach and bowels. Getting relief now. I know I had turned off, unknowingly, my digestive processes. Thank God I know now! Jesus is good and helps us with this information. The one who created Quantum Theory too. Love it! I agree with you, great video.

You can't pick your family, you need your job, and neighbors aren't easy to change. But, you don't have to eat. Bile salts are essential, and, lots of leafy greens, as fresh as you can find them. The only canned vegetables I will eat is green beans, because they're the only vegetable you can get in a can that hasn't had it's skin removed, and half the texture of lightly steamed carrots is the contrast between the tougher skin and the softer flesh. It's really sad that people only eat the equivalent of a can of vegetables each day.

My GP just prescribes loads of laxatives & tells me to take 4 different ones together. I’ve been doing OMAD and Keto for 4 months now and finally my big C is starting to correct itself. At the risk of jinxing things, I’ve gone from a 12-15 day to 4 days. This is huge for me. I also tried acupressure points today.

Fairly recently I had to go to the hospital with a bad case of constipation. It was very painful and to the doctors and male nurse who helped me I will always remember you. I must have atoned for a lot of sins that day.

Thank you for another great video! Question for you...why do you recommend use of benfotiamine (which is a synthetic S-acyl derivative of thiamine (vitamin B1))...rather than recommending Thiamine? Thanks!

Such comprehensive solution to a common but recurring problem in such short video! In Ayurveda, it has been mentioned that almost all diseases begin from bad digestion system. Physicians too need this approach. Thanks for explaining to us that constipation is not just fiber and hydration issue. Bowel movements and stools reveal what is going on in your digestive tract.

Oh... I've been suffering from constipation throughout my life... After drinking metamucil did not make it better... I wish I knew this earlier! I've tried with more fat and magnesium, that seems to work well.

Constipation also occurs when you are too stressed or emotionally bombarded. The way we feel has a serious impact on how our stomach functions and overall our entire digestive system. For instance, if you are emotionally tense you end up either having constipation or bloated.

I never had the problem of constipation until 2020, when I got super depressed and emotionally exhausted. I have been struggling with constipation ever since, even after the initial trauma was over. I've tried so many things to get rid of it, but nothing has worked to get me regular.
