    I love watching these Lions mane time lapses, where the teeth grow like little snakes or worms!

    I bought a liquid culture and after not even 48 hours I can see the first, tiny strings of mycelium.
    This was my FIRST attempt ever and they did not hesitate to bring joy!

      @@HappyMushrooms nah everything died. I honestly think I managed to "inoculate" 3 bags and one LC jar without ANY mycelium. I should have been more brave and shake it. The rest of the LC with 100% mycelium content is now in the jar since yesterday. Let us see if something survives in there. THEN I become a happy grower!
      Thanks for your great work and inspiration!

    Crazy cool timelapses and glorious yields! :D
    Have you ever tried to grow with lime pasteurized substrate instead of sterilized?
    Cheers!+

    Fantastic video. I thought my lions mane wasn’t looking good compared to oyster mushroom mycelium on the grain spawn…seems it just looks that way. Thanks for the end to end and showing contamination.

    Those are some truly beautiful fruits. I'm having trouble getting mine to fruit. I've already had the fruits come out pink, got contamination where I cut the X's, had them dry up and stop growing. You name it I can't fruit worth a crap with the Lion's man.

    • @HappyMushrooms
      @HappyMushrooms  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Did you see contamination inside the bag/spawn before cutting? Maybe the temperatures were too high?

      @@HappyMushrooms if I see contamination I toss it out. So no

    You didnt give the results of the stated goal at the beginning (unless i missed something)
    What was your final weights results from 1 block??

    this was all fine and dandy but said nothing about actually growing it except "rye grain and 70 degrees for grain" thats it.
    What kind of substrate, is it just pasteurized wood pellets or is it pressure cooked masters mix or what?
    and for eating purposes you let those go way to long

    50g spawn per 2kg substrate is 2.5% spawn rate correct? Isn't that too low? Or was it wet substrate weight? Also, did you sterilize the substrate?

    • @HappyMushrooms
      @HappyMushrooms  ปีที่แล้ว

      The rate is good, just make sure to mix it up properly to distribute the spawn evenly inside the bag

    • @FRESNEL_COOKING_SOLAR_OVENS24
      @FRESNEL_COOKING_SOLAR_OVENS24 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The spawn rate for lions mane must be between 10% to 15% of the total wet substrate. 200gr to 300gr for 2kg sawdust block of beechwood pellets at 60% humidity.

    • @FRESNEL_COOKING_SOLAR_OVENS24
      @FRESNEL_COOKING_SOLAR_OVENS24 หลายเดือนก่อน

      50gr spawm for 2kg substrate will take 1.5 to 2 months for inoculation
