I feel like MS2020 isn't trying to compete so much with X-Plane as it's trying to compete with all of the other games out there that are amazing. It's a paradigm change. X-Plane does have some work to do to get into that area but, I think, with Vulcan, they are positioning themselves to do so. But, they need to focus on what's going to give X-Plane the umph to get in there. Focus on the visual weak spots...dim lighting, weather visualization, sliding tires. Add to that antiquated mouse handling. And then, on the reality side of things, air movement that pushes the airplane around...like you're sitting in an airplane and hit an air pocket and you turn and look at the person sitting next to you with a worried look on your face. That kind of movement. Some of these items are things they've been sitting on and are pretty easy. Some are more difficult but they're doable. It continues to evolve. We'll see what happens during the next year.
4:57 is presumably Mt Vesuvius, with Naples partly obscured by the wing and modern Pompeii (with its ancient destroyed counterpart) probably just visible on the right hand side down the coast. So, for most in Australia and other third world internet nations I would expect a more FSX (at best) like visual experience.

I registered on 13 September 2019. I didn't get any invite; I think it is because I had Windows 7 Pro. I upgraded to Windows 10 Pro last week, and I LOVE Windows 10. I did upload a new updated dxdiag.xml, so they can see I now have Windows 10, so hopefully, I will get an invite, especially because I have a nice gaming PC built by Chillblast, in the UK. Sorry to tell you but you've got a low to mid term build.
Thanks for shearing that Ray. Keep those comments coming! : )
@@Involvedplays I Know. It is mid now, but Asobo also want to test on mid systems, as they stated. They stated they want to avoid the FSX blunder: in 2006, FSX worked fine only on systems at least 6 years in the future. I will call this "FSX Back to the Future". I also contacted Chillblast for a possible upgrade of my PC already, but I want to test first, see what others will say, rather than make the mistake of upgrading BEFORE FS 2020 is out... Let's wait and see.
