I looked at your video with great interest, congratulations for seeing so much details. As far as I know, they didn't show if the cockpit display brightness is adjustable. I am sure it is but I would like to see it, dimming the displays is so important when flying at night. Regarding the comparison with professional simulators, I agree with you. I flew an Airbus level D simulator from CAE some years ago, it was the latest generation and it was not as good as MSFS2020. But the instructor said that external view was not so important for professional sims. I don't know... Maybe MS plans to sell their world modeling technology to simulator manufacturers, who knows?
Hi Eric, Ye, the view is never as good in commercial flight simulators, as it's not really important to them. Ye, it was the Apple II, I'll never forget it! Thanks for commenting! : )
Hope we can disable the "head shake". In FSX it was very annoying, because although your head may shake in a real airplane, the panel does not move. Head shake in a sim moves the panel around to simulate the shake, which makes it difficult to read the instruments in a way that does not correspond to real life.

I really hope this will be certified for flight instruction really soon. The current flight sims the schools use are horrible and many are on Windows 98. Something we can use for a VFR Xcountry could possibly cut down on instructional cost, with the appropriate regulation changes.
@@GripperSim That's really cool! The place using said windows 98 ( it may even be 2000) is a university of all places. Too many Part 141 schools it just a requirement they need to fulfill and nothing more
if you know anything about flying FAA primarily requires appropriate hardware to make it an "approved" simulator for training, it is the hardware that is expensive. Also any approved simulator is only good for IFR training (per regulations), there is nothing on the horizon with enough fidelity to teach you how to fly, nothing that would work towards your PPL.
