You’ll need
2 lemons
15-20 fresh mint leaves
2 tbsp granulated sugar
800 ml cold water
Here’s how
1- Freeze for about 300 ml of water in a ziplock bag laid flat in the freezer.
2- Zest the lemons/ limes.
3- Add the mint leaves and 2 tbsp of granulated sugar. Rub for about 2 minutes to release the flavors.
4- Add 800 ml of cold water.
5- Squeeze out the juice of 2 lemons.
6- Finally, add the lemon juice and stir until well incorporated.
7- Pour the drink through the strainer into a jug.
8- Smash the ice inside the bag with a rolling pin or other heavy object.
9- Fill the glass with crushed ice, pour in the drink and garnish it with mint leaves and lime/ lemon wheels.
10- Enjoy!
