I will say that the best thing that has saved us a lot of grief is to purchase another car seat base that goes into the car. That way you don't have to remove the car seat base all the time, just put the car seat in an your done. Best thing our parents got for us as a gift. Just spreading a word of wisdom to you. For me, it changed when I saw the gender on the sonogram.
The birth really solidified it, but the sonogram hit me the hardest.
