Very objective and professional review! I am using both iPad Pro and Tab S9 Ultra. I think iPad Pro is a bit obsolete in terms of OS and hardware. Tab S9 Ultra is more innovative and fun to use. It is not just a Mobile device. It works like a computer far more than iPad Pro!
Writing this from my M4 13” pro. I traded in my tab s9 ultra for this and I’m a little bummed. The only thing I don’t miss about the ultra is the size. It was a bit too big for couch use; however, I found the display on the tab to be more pleasing for me. It got brighter watching movies and tv than the iPad and the colors looks better for me. I’m really into the more vibrant colors due to some eye issues I have. I also liked the tab better for multitasking. I’ll be selling this one for the tab s10 plus for sure.
@@The_Supreme_Savage funny story I actually bought the S9 plus and then after receiving it thought the screen was dim so I returned it and got the tab S9 ultra. After about six months wish I had kept the plus. I’ll be getting the tab S-10 plus when it comes out.
The Tab s9 ultra is a beast, it does everything I need it to do and more. Had it since pre order and it's still going strong. You came with another banger..
If anyone is planning to buy a Tab S9 Ultra, better wait for Samsung to release the S10 Ultra (which is rumored to be coming soon). Then you can pick up a Tab S9 Ultra for cheap (that's what I'm planning to do)
@@RjeyTech its rumoured to be better (scores got leaked) at pure performance. However, emulation will suck due to optimisation and the battery life will most likely take a hit (compared to snapdragon 8 gen 3 it could've had instead).
I am using Tab S9 Ultra 5G Since last 10 Months I can say that it's theeeeeeeeeee perfect device for me I am using it without any cover it's perfect for me not so big but with cover you will feel it's quite heavy. 750grm is not so heavy for me it's fantastic 😍 I loved it .
I think you are completely wrong with the screen resolution. I've owned both items and Samsung got Apple beat. The colors are much more vibrant on the Samsung panels. Remember Samsung makes the panels for Apple lol
I got both. The Ultra is my main home device and the iPad is for editing photos and travel due to the smaller size. Definitely overkill but I like both systems.
My iPad Pro m4 13 is ok battery is ok , but sometimes one or twice a week I tried to tap the screen to wake up my iPad and the screen doesn’t turn on till 20 seconds later 😒
Really enjoyed your comparison between the 2 devices! Have to be honest, at least in Clip Studio Paint and Krita. I have never noticed latency on the S pen on my Galaxy tab s9 ultra. I draw digitally and got the tab S9 mainly for this purpose, due to the larger screen and included stylus (prefer larger drawing surfaces). While I dont have access to an apple tablet for comparison, I have compared the pen responsiveness to a beelink ser5 max mini PC using Clip Studio and Krita via both a Wacom cintiq 13hd display tablet and my newer Huion 22 plus display tablet. Pen responsiveness on the tab s9 ultra for me is on par with a PC/display-screen tablet setup. Could the slight pen responsiveness issue you noticed be down to the note software from Samsung and not actually the tablet itself? It would be interesting if you could test clip studio and the pen on both of these devices and see if you notice the same difference in latency.

The device is not that powerfull but you can do a lot of stuff on the go because of that versatile os. I know the comparison is not fair, but this shows that you can do a lot of things done with a smaller form factor device, and you don't need that power.

icl i bought the samsung tab s9 ultra for £1000, and except for the mobile chipset, loved it. Only problem, my school wanted me to get an iPad. Long story short, i ended up having to return it and buy an ipad ready for sixth form.
Why did your school require only an iPad and no other tablet? Were they using iPad-exclusive software? If so, that doesn't seem very fair to make every student go out and buy an iPad because of it. Edit: Also did you get your Tab S9 Ultra second hand or new? I've been looking at getting the base model but can't make it come down in price from £850 after I offered my old Ipad as a trade in.
Wow, the Tab S9 Ultra is such a good tablet. I've had it for about a year now, I think, and I like it better than the iPads I used to have. I don't know which iPad I had, but it was a good one.

If i purchase Samsung Ultra will it serve me needs. Can do videos editing on Samsung Ultra..?? Please do reply i am very confused. Today i have to decide and purchase anyone form both things.

The S9 ultra was too large for me as a tablet. The S9 was perfect for my use as an android tablet. Could never ditch my iPad Pro though as an Apple user. I tried haha
Tab S9 Ultra user since day 1. Samsung Notes and Multitasking with any other apps are a game changer. Enough said. Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra using mediatek sounds lame. Samsung should have waited for Snapdragon Gen 4. Guess I'll wait until Snapdragon Gen 5.
M4 is better in my opinion. The software is better and I have less hiccups. And the palm rejection on the 9 ultra is not good. And the keyboard use and functionality is horrific.
@@MD-wz8uz I use my S9 Ultra as a tablet and not a computer replacement. I have never tried a keyboard case on my tab. Multitasking with multiple apps and the S-Pen is just way better than the iPad. I own both.
I switched to an iPad after being in Samsung ecosystem. The multi window support for Microsoft apps is important for me. So I am back in the Apple Ecosystem. Nothing beats my apps such as Ulysses, Things, and Fantastical which is more of my preference in Apple exclusive apps

I have both and you can't go wrong with either or both. They both have more power and capability than I need but do everything I need so well.

I d go for tab S9 ultra or S9+ as its perfect for students and multitasking
Hope that Samsung will bring anti reflective screen and thunderbolt port 4 and retain the sd card slot to tab s10 ultra

You didn’t talk about the specific app for animation, 3d rendering and video editing, definitely makes the ipad the clear winner
Editing video on both tablets is a mess. Animation from a professional point of view needs a nvidia workstation.
