I much prefer the iPad Pro's form factor. I had the S8 Ultra previously and while movie watching experience is great, it's pretty awkward to hold in portrait mode making reading/browsing the web (and pretty much anything else in portrait mode) while handheld incredibly unwieldy and uncomfortable.
@@tonderaimutuke3492 I tried that as well but the aspect ratio meant I lost a lot of vertical real estate so about 20% of viewing area is missing in landscape mode when compared to the iPad. Both sizes are pretty much just different flavors of compromise in productivity.
I have a 2nd gen iPad Pro 12.9 inch, and still has no decent file handling system. iPad OS needs to get a lot better to be fully useful as a laptop replacement
Connect a Xbox or ps5 controller in dex mode and you have a console to stream games or just play games download on the tablet, great for traveling in hotels. Also Samsung phones with DEX can do the same thing
@@Adamtendo_player_1 That's the problem though. I have been in IT support for over 25 years. In all this time, I've discovered that only about 5%, (if not less) of users, barely do video editing on their iPad. On the rare occasions when they do, the do it on their Macs, or on a Windows machine, because, to be honest, it's a lot simpler and done better on full devices. Very few iPad users do video editing, or are able to use the power of the M4 chip because there are no apps that are optimized for it. The benchmarks look good, but in terms of real life use, it's all wasted tech, and wasted money for now. I have both, but the iPad is basically just for media consumption. With DEX, I can use Zoom, take notes in Samsung Notes, and have a PowerPoint or PDF file open to follow the presenter. All on one screen at the same time. No other tablet does this.
@@Adamtendo_player_1 ? Video editing sucks on both compared to an actual windows or Mac OS devices. As a marine engineer from India, I am torn between three devices for my online studies, content consumption, and stock market/trading and sometimes game activities: the Samsung Galaxy S10 Ultra, Apple iPad Air M2, and iPad Pro M4. I currently use an iPhone 15 Pro Max and am seeking a device that will seamlessly integrate with my existing ecosystem. The devices' prices are as follows: - Samsung Galaxy S10 Ultra (base model): ₹79,000 with 1 year of free accidental damage coverage Apple iPad Air M2: ₹75,000 (without Apple Pencil or Apple Care+) - Apple iPad Pro M4: ₹1,19,000(without Apple Pencil or Apple Care+) Key considerations for my purchase decision include: 1. *Future-proofing*: Will the Samsung Galaxy S10 Ultra's processor be sufficient for the next 7 years, considering the promised 7 years of OS updates? Similarly, how will the iPad Air M2 and iPad Pro M4 hold up in the future? 2. *Upcoming releases*: Should I wait for the rumored new iPad Air with M3 processor, expected in early 2025, which may come with a free Apple Pencil Pro? 3. *Additional costs*: Galaxy Al will become a chargeable service from 2026. What are the potential costs associated with each device, including repair costs? 4. 4. *Ecosystem integration*: As an iPhone user, I value seamless integration with my existing Apple devices. Or should I switch to samsung galaxy tab just for studies? Considering my requirements and the factors mentioned above, I would appreciate your expert guidance on choosing the ideal device for my needs. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Because it's actually a better display. I'm fortunate (unfortunate?) to have both. I just got my S10 Ultra, and rarely use my iPad Pro M4 now. I've seen reviews where the reviewer makes comments that the iPad Pro screen is better, but I simply don't see it. I don't care about benchmarks or anything unnecessary that don't matter to the normal user. To me, with my actual eyes, nothing pops to me more than the S10 Ultra. It's the best-looking tablet display I've ever seen.
@@danielperez3044 yeah the ipad has a better display and more accurate the guy up top is just a samsung fanboy ithink it just the way his camera capture it that is why it seems brighter numbers dont lie comments do
@@danielperez3044 Not really from what I can see. When I've placed them both in a dark room, or even a fully lit room, and run movies or video clips on either one, the color on the Samsung S10 Ultra just looks brighter. It could be the way darker colors are handled. There's a richness to dark blues and black colors. I saw where an Apple fanboy tried to claim that I was a Samsung fanboy, which made me laugh. I have both tablets. So, I don't get what he's saying. I don't care what site benchmarks tell me. Visual sense, just like auditory sense, is subjective. What I may see as brighter, might not be what you see with your eyes, or what he sees. It's one of the reasons why I still think the comparison of the Samsung Buds Pro 3 earpods with the Apple Airpods is silly. I have both of those as well, and it really depends on what ecosystem you are using them in. I don't get the same full sound from my iPhone or iPad Pro with my Buds 3 pros, just like I don't get the same full sound from my Fold 6 or S10 Ultra with the AirPods. When either one is put in their own ecosystem, that's when they shine. They should have stopped benchmarks years ago when there was so much controversy with Windows apps designed specifically for GeForce video cards, which inflated the numbers. Most of the M4 benchmarks are useless as well, because there isn't a single app in the Apple app store that takes advantage of the excess power that's bragged about. Every time I see a comment about "numbers don't lie", I have to side-eye that. That's simple Apple nonsense. Numbers can't replace what you see or hear. Simple as that. I don't really care what any prefers. I have a preference for my Android devices because they have true multi-tasking, and no other device runs DEX besides Samsung.
No Me touch iPad Pro M4. While Samsung makes a valiant effort, they just park compete with Apple when it comes to tablets although the tablets do you have something that the current iPad Pro lacks proper multitasking with DEX.
Samsung is presenting better products nowadays. It’s amazing and I’m thinking to change my whole ecosystem from apple for a Samsung because they are listening to people instead of Apple. Screen, vessels, even the pen included make the difference.
Dısagree , samsung provıdes much more space for vıdeo comsumptıon ç, the only reason has m4 ıs the cost . Much cheaper to produce m4 for the whole lıne up
90 percent of these samsung and apple comparison content creator's is bias towards apple. Samsung wipes the floor with Apple. With better and more features and quality.

Great review, thank you!
Omg, i really enjoyed the way you delivered the whole thing. It's quite an enjoyable review. Thanks for sharing!
So if you want something for media consumption pick the su10 and if you wan to do anything else pick the m4 got it

ipad gaming 1440p/2k tab s10 ultra 1080p 😑

I wish Samsung trackpad was as good as the Magic Keyboard. Becauxe Dex makes in easier to use as a laptop
There are some mediocre (Made in China) "magic keyboard" for samsung galaxy tab. But yep, mediocre choices :(
If you care about video editing the tab S10 ultra can’t compete with the iPad.
