I have a similar issue. Could you help? My car won’t start, or crank or anything. Sometimes, I can jump the battery and it will start up. Other times, it will charge the battery functions and the starter will click, but not turn over.
So I have a 2001 gmc Yukon I changed the starter months ago, change it again thinking that’s why car won’t turn over but car still won’t start what else could it be?
Is it a crank no start condition? If so, you may have a faulty fuel pump. You can try hitting the fuel tank a couple times to see if the fuel pump brushes make contact again. If the vehicle starts, then your issue is a fuel pump. You also try spraying starting fuel through the throttle body and see if it starts, if it does, then that's another indication that you need a fuel pump.
what in the world?? did the fuse fairy come and slipped them out why you were asleep?? how did the fuses just disappear and you not notice your instrument cluster not lighting up?? just asking😂
Have this issue off and on. Dash and instruments fire up, but absolutely no crank. This started happening after having pep boys change the batter back in the summer. Took it back to them they claimed they looked everything over and it could be a "computer issue". Which is strange because like I said I've never had this issue before changing bthe battery.
@@shomarihines7946 Some possibilities: CAN network issues. Power and ground going to your power distribution box. Check to see if your bolts that bolt down your power distribution box are snugged tight.
Im having this same issue. 2008 yukon instrument panel works but when turn the key to the on position it just clicks once. Just checked the fuses. No luck
I have power on my instrument panned , truck was just running fine , I heart the starter click, but it won’t start or crank or nothing I only have power my head lights work and radio.
@@CarsNTruckEntertainment it’s going to be your bcm, I accidentally touched my positive and negative together and unfortunately fried my bcm I tried everything I checked every single damn fuse and it wasn’t until I gave up and paid 1k to get get that stupid but beautiful truck back to life

Lol, someone else had already been there trying to fix a parasitic draw. Not sure why that person removed fuses and never put them back.

When it does turn on, the engine light comes on and stays on for at least two drive cycles then turns off. Again, never had this issue

I've got a 07 with no power anywhere no crank no windows no radio no nothing and it's not fuse 46 or 56 causing my issue
What's the condition of the battery? Have you checked fuses that pertain to battery power?
Another possibility would be a bad ignition switch
What happens if the instrument cluster is not dead
What's your main symptom?

Check the NSS… neutral safety switch… check starter connection.
