My wife has the iPhone 13 Pro Max and she absolutely loves it! The camera quality is fantastic, the battery life is impressive, and the overall performance is top-notch.
I have the 13 Pro Max & one thing I don’t like about it is the notch because I’ve seen the iPhone 14 Pro Max with the dynamic island & I really wish the iPhone 13 Pro Max had the dynamic island

@@Massoudfaquiryan I’m the opposite. I don’t like the idea of the dynamic island because it intrudes more while watching videos way more than the notch did. At least the notch blends into the top of the phone, making it easy to ignore. As a large black pill, the dynamic island floats there on the end of the screen, surrounded on all sides by said screen.
I really like my iPhone 13 Pro. I got it a month or so after it came out and I couldn’t be happier with it. I’m keeping it at least until the 15 Pro comes out, and even then I might not upgrade. The screen, battery and cameras still hold up perfectly in 2023.

@@kevinphoenix2007 I decided to upgrade to the 15 Pro Max, but only because I switched carriers. If I didn’t, I would’ve likely kept using the 13 Pro for another year or two.
So 8 months ago it was still possible to buy a new one? Nowadays the only possibility is the reconditionate?

I LOVE my iPhone 13 Pro, to the point where I didn’t get the iPhone 14 Pro BUT one huge thing I wish we had was stronger MagSafe on the back and the shiny sides are left to be desired if you’re using a case. Other from that, the iPhone 15 Pro might be a tough sale but I might* get it.

As someone who works on call as a pet sitter this phone should help me so so much.
I purchased the 13 pro on discount with T-Mobile for 1TB, and believe I made the smartest purchase, but after having the 14 pro for about a month before giving it to my daughter for the 13 pro, I kinda miss two silly small features: always on display and brightness. Given that I have a MagSafe night charging stand, I really want the always on so that I can squint my eyes and see the time. The brightness means a lot because after work I go into my backyard and watch TH-cam to unwind. The brightness helps.
But all in all, this is a super incremental upgrade. It’s literally the Apple Watch Series 4 to series 5&6.

what do you say about the battery life for both phone on 2023. I am looking for a pro model. either 13pro/14pro! I don't have any doubt regarding the performance but the battery backup is important for me.

iPhone 13 Pro is a beast. Year over year upgrades are played out, as evidence of these incremental improvements companies add on. The 14 Pro is indeed a better phone, but not by much.
I picked up a used 13 pro max with a cracked back Oct of last year for $550 stepping up from an XS max that I upgraded to from an 6S about 2 years prior & I felt like the upgrade from the XS max was just as big of a jump from my 6S. The 13 pro max seems like a phone I’ll keep for probably as long as I kept my 6S, almost 6 years. The battery life, speed, & display is phenomenal. What’s ironic is I also upgraded my 5v chargers after picking up my 13 pro max & kick myself for not upgrading my slow ass 5v chargers to 20v chargers sooner.
As someone who used to have a vivo v20 charging at 33w and then moving to iphone 13 pro which maxed out at 20w, it definitely felt a bit slower for me. So for your case u would definitely have felt that big gap in charging speed.
I have a sierra blue 13 Pro and I love it, battery health only went down by 2% after one year of use. I upgraded to a 14 PM for the bigger display. Left the 13 on iOS 15 because why not, feels a little nostalgic when I use it.

Last year, I went from the iPhone 7 to the XS, while my kids went from the X to the 13 Pro. I'm really not a fan of the weight of their phone.
I'm planning to stay with XS until Apple stops giving it the latest iOS, at which point I'm seriously considering swapping to a 13 Mini. It'll probably be 2nd hand, but I really can't see Apple reintroducing a Mini - unless the next SE uses the discontinued size.

For 13 pro owners,is there any big difference at battery life vs 13 PM?
I was considering the 14 Pro but I’ve been using a SIM card with a pre paid plan for years, and since NONE of the 14’s has a physical sim tray, I’m probably getting the 13 pro

Hi Andrew, I had iPhone 13 Pro after the 14 release since late 2022, but it had calling issues and battery draining with iOS 16 and Apple failed in fixing the calling problem for me, so I did a trade-in in Apple Store for an iPhone 14 Pro.
Recently, I have scrolling stuttering, and the screen gives me headaches after 5-10 minutes and those issues weren't on my 13 Pro.
I also prefer the 13 Pro a bit more now but it cannot be purchased as new anymore in official retailers in my country.
Where can I buy a brand-new iPhone 13 Pro? Do you recommend eBay or other options?
eBay is a little difficult. You could try it but make sure it’s battery health is good

Apple website.. certified used.. 1 year apple warranty. Available apple care for 2 years/200USD… Though they are selling quite fast. I mean like some colors are gone within a hour! I waited an hour. Missed outon alpine green. Only space grey was available. Still fine with the purchase. EBAY.. no way. The worst place to purchase used cellphones. The scams are ridiculous. Pay the extra 200.00 and get a used 13 pro/max directly from apple. No headaches for the long term.
I bought myself the iPhone 14 Pro Max on November of last year, and honestly, it has been somewhat of a nightmare to use. It is full of bug glitches within the ios16 software, the dynamic island rarley works, issues with airdrop and the battery has just been ABSOLUTLEY HORRENDOUS, even without the always on display. Can someone please explain this? And will they, for sure and defintenly, fix this on the iPhone 15 pro models?, because this is for sure, causing me a huge headache.

I purchased a used 13 Pro Max 126 gb in in space grey Nov of 2022 & worth every penny coming from an XS Max
Got my 13 Pro on launch day (the first iPhone I got on launch day) and it’s been great. I am considering replacing the battery as it’s at 89% health. But I’ve been happily using this phone. I skipped the 14 and I may skip the 15 depending on what they do with it. I hate the dynamic island and I have the always on display on my Apple Watch 7.
89% is still not bad, if you can hold on no need for swapping it yet imo
iPhone 13 Pro user here, I bought it a few weeks after the iPhone 14 launch, because the difference between the 13 pro and regular 14 was around 100€ and for 100€ more, you get 120Hz, three cameras, better performance, and so on. I'm never gonna regret my decision and I'm sooo happy with this phone.
I agree that the 14 pro is a better phone "on paper" , but the 14 pro is also the only release in the past few years that I see so many youtubers going back to the older 13 pro. Maybe there is a reason for that... For me as a 13 pro owner , I will wait for the 15 pro to come out. And if it`s kind of disappointing release as the 14 pro... My battery is still at 98% health. It will survive until 16 pro :D
Is 13 pro worth it? Cuz I'm panning to buy that on September when the iPhone 15 will be release so that iphone 13 pro is not that expensive anymore at that time

If you wait, you will always be waiting. The iphone will not change much. Apple might find a loophole in the rules to not add usb type c

C is coming… it’s just that the apple C cable will offer a faster transfer speed.. purchase a regular c cable. It will be a hair faster than lightening.

Got the 13 pm since release and it is as good as at the first day. Camera, Performance Display and battery life are amazing. One of the best iPhones ever. I am sure that it will last for 3-4 years to come easily.

AOD and Dynamic island are polarizing, I’d wait for the 15 launch to get a 13 cheaper if my current device were not new already or was doing ok.
In terms of camera quality and performance the upgrade isn’t that significant from the 13 to the 14 and the 13 has been reported to have better battery, although that is debatable if you were to turn off the AOD on the 14 it should match or have even better battery. Never seen it tested.
An iphone 13 rn is still super recent for me. I don’t see the need to buy the latest phone lmao. It’s still really recent. And how could I pick an iphone 14 pro (300 euro more) to just get a bit brighter screen and an always on display feature (I think dynamic island is meh, prefer notch)? That’s so much more expensive lmao

Just got my iPhone 13 Pro Max (6 months used for $1,027 ). over brand new iPhone 14 plus and I didn't regret it. My battery lasts 17-18hrs without playing and it still has 20% on it (100%BH)

First off. I’ve been using iphones since the 6…… 12/13/14 does not have any internals to dissipate heat. 14 will handle gaming the best.. 12 the worst. 13.. in between. Some cell phone manufacturers have integrated heat sinks to allow intensive gaming without the screen dimming or frame rate drops…get a ipad mini for gaming. Anything more than 30 minutes - gaming on a phone will deplete your battery quite fast, and the heat will slowly destroy the cpu/gpu……
My Alpine Green is just amazing. I can keep my 13 Pro until 2025-2026. Maybe a battery replacement will be needed. 4 years is a minimum for this 1279€ phone.
