Hello!! If you are a resident you don't pay the property tax, if it's an holiday home you might need to pay something but definitely not 15k, way, way, waaaaaaaaaay, lower. It's about 1% of the fiscal value of the property but varies slightly on the towns.
I've been watching Italian home videos for awhile. I've found their property taxes to be very low compared to the US, even on million $$ homes!!! More expensive in bigger cities in Italy, but still less than the US!!
WOW! But needs a lot of brush hog work, tree cut and removal on all sides to take in all the beauty and views available there unobstructed. Being on hill type slope not sure how you could get in to do all that, maybe someone for hire? Costly perhaps to get them to come to the small town as well. Bit expensive. Must be well and septic, not mains. The interior is actually good!

The interior is pretty solid. Not much more than cosmetic changes, except for the guest bathroom shower. Nice place. It would be beautiful to cut the grass on that hillside.

Indeed, it's very recent (2006) and also owners didn't live there because they started building but then they moved in another region.
