I might have to use thing next time i make a boozy ice cream! Nicely done! I also used your advice making my root beer flavored ice cream. I mix it in my based immediately before churning, and it worked like a charm.
Hope you do more boozy recipes in the futures. I always wanted to try adding wine or beer to ice cream, but I think finding the right ratios would be a bit tricky.
@@invu4834Sounds good, I will start working on it! It may take a while to get it right, but I hope it will be worth the waiting; especially the stout beer ice cream sounds very appealing.
Hi. I am a novice at making ice cream. I have just bought a ninja Creami dessert maker. A poor man Pacojet. Can i take you recipes and freeze the ice cream base. Then spin the frozen pint in the Creami? Or to get the optiomal results the recipe need slight adjustments? I ask because the whole process of making ice cream is 'reversed' when using the Creami. Many thanks.
Update: I have made several attempts to make a cream cheese ice cream that fits our standards in terms of flavour and mouthfeel. The problem with cream cheese is that it has a delicate flavour and you need lots of it to make the flavour pronounced in the ice cream. But when you add too much of it, the ice cream texture gets weird because of the gum that the cream cheese contains. I am still working on it, and I hope that I will finally come up with a recipe. And if I do, I hope that you will find that it was worth the wait. :)
Ice cream queen
Really yummy
Great balancing with the alcohol and sugars! Seems nicely scoopable at -14c.
Yes, it is!

So glad to hear this! :)

@@invu4834 Sure I will! Do you have a specific wine or beer you would like, except for the root beer you have described? :)
@@theicecreamqueen as far as wine, maybe cabernet or pinot noir. For beer, maybe a stout, Belgian quad, or maybe an IPA.

I have no experience with Ninja Creami, but from what I know, I see no reason why this recipe would not work with it, exactly the way it is. :)
Can you teach us how to make cream cheese ice cream please? 🙏🏽
Yes! This is the next project! :)
