To me, the major sounding component to this cover adds to the melancholy of the lyrics. The message of the lyrics got through to me way more in this cover than the original imo. I absolutely love it and have it on repeat 🙌

This is amazing. But I'll be honest, it sounds too clean and too clear to be Midwest emo. Honest would have been better if you did a take of the vocals when your voice was already worn out and didn't pitch correct anything.

In between episodes listen to the Gotye original
