Thank you, I was looking for this, I have a shell oil box I designed, but need to show it in 3D mode as a presentation . Every side contains vector art with a shell Oil logo along with text and a a silhouettes of a bootle of oil, do I need to place those elements individually or just group the whole side’s art and place on the corresponding perspective? That is a great tutorial. Question, I am creating a 2D brochure that contains photos & vectors. I converted to JPG (flatten) and then added to perspective. The images are not crisp and straight lines are wavy. Any idea why? Thank you

Perfect article and very helpful. I had a design that was in InDesign and I wanted to make it look dimensional. Ultimately a direct copy and paste from IND to AI didn't work but I exported the raster portions of my IND file and was able to map those JPGs to the planes. Thank you for your video.

Why do you shorten the grid?
For example I have a cereal box that I created using the 3D Extrusion & Bevel; but I did not use the perspective grid. I just made it the size of 8.5 x 11 and sheared the objects. I will now practice the perspective tool. You have made it easier to undertstand. Thank you for your videos!
