Alina Mitchelson in my opinion she didn’t know. The potential Father even said he believed that “she believed” he was the Father. The Grandmother said what she said out of malice. Both of them were cheating on each other. The Mother wasn’t malicious towards him, just seemed hurt. She was honest about loving him and then after the results were read, she apologized to both him and her Son.

Naw, Her Mother knew she was sleeping with someone else that is why she peeped to him that the child wasn't his. You can't be sleeping with two people at the same time and say I know 100% which one is the Father. They both needed to be on the show to get tested.
If she was cheating on him within the window of conception then she HAD to know that there was a possibility someone else was the father. I am sure the judge even asked her that. What I hate is them saying for sure that the man is the father knowing that there are numerous possibilities.
I love that when he said he was keeping his last name the guy ripped off his oxygen tubes and went over to hug him. That is pride, keeping a last name is such a strong thing to do especially when its not even by blood that you are in that family. I fully respect all involved for how they acted, they were grown up and apologised and these are the episodes i love to see, that unconditional love. wow, its just amazing to me :')

I loved the son’s response. I could see that it did affect him and this would be hard for anyone to have to go through but it was refreshing to see a pc case that wasn’t so emotional. The pain could have been avoided if the Mother was truthful that there could have possibly been another Man that was his Father. He only married her because he thought he got her pregnant. That is why after 8 years he left because the marriage wasn't based off love but a dirty secret that her Mother knew and told him.
