First case, no one is taking into account the fact that they were like 13/14 when the child was conceived! Their family failed them! They were non-blood related cousins sleeping around and no one noticed SMH

In that 1st case, she got pregnant at 12 and had her daughter at 13 yo in order to be only 31 with an 18 yo daughter. That's WAY too young...

I didn't like him from the jump. Over talking her, the judge, asking her questions instead letting judge Lake ask them and she didn't check him. It was always an excuse. He is a POS to intentionally LIE to a child, and he KNEW that was his child. He was lying the whole time. Talking over someone does not make you right.

It broke my heart when she said “can I go hug my parents” and ran to her mother and step dad. Your real dad didn’t know baby. It’s not like he was a deadbeat who didn’t want you. When she came out and he looked at her you can see the glow on his face. I hope she gives him a chance. The whole situation is weird. Them being young at the time and being related by marriage. The adults in those parents lives should’ve done better.
That doesn't change the fact that the mom's husband is the one who actually put in the time to raise her. That's her "real" dad because he's the one who acted in the role of dad. Her biological father is not a bad guy, but you also can't change the past. Like she said, he simply wasn't there. He's not going to take precedence over her real dad who raised her just because they share some DNA.

That first case was heart breaking. I feel really bad for the bio Daddy. You could see the pain in him from the start. I don't like that the mother and step father downgraded him so much. As responsible parents. They should NOT have allowed that child to have a negative opinion of that man. This whole case was a mess. Just a lot of emotions. Very sad.

1st case - Heartbreaking! They were extremely young (like 14) so because he was a child, the adults in their lives were responsible for helping these young kids figure this out. Also, the mom, although young, cheated on her bf with him so how could he be sure, if she wasn't sure. The daughter is upset, rightfully so, but some of that is a result of her mom's actions. They all need to show him a little grace because at one point he tried until the rumors started (again) saying that he wasn't the dad. I hope they were all able to move forward together.
But somewhere in the 18yrs that passed - he could have pursued getting a dna test instead of just abandoning her. He’s not a kid anymore.

Right? That always irritates me. Why not figure out why you are only 1 of at least 2 possible men in the first place. No reason to try to start a family when the other parent is trying to already break apart that potential family. (btw this is in no way excusing any guys cheating)
Judge basically asked him to sign his name take on the child support. Sign his name on the birth certificate. See the child and build a bond.

I believe her adopted father (his uncle) told him he was not the father. Why? Who knows? Maybe guilt there was no parental control allowing 2 twelve years olds to sleep in the same room, and that his 12-year-old nephew was too young to be a father? Who does that? My parents would have never allowed me to sleep in the same room with my male cousins even if they were blood cousins, and no one was adopted. Neither would have any of my aunts and uncles. Why? Because they KNEW pre-teens and teens have hormones which make them NOT make good judgments. That is why the parents HAVE to make good judgments for them. Heck, when my daughter was only 8 and her 7-year-old male cousin spent the night, we put him in the extra bedroom/office. NOT because we thought anything would happen. We simply did not want to set a precedent that would become a problem in a few years.

No, there was an update on them and turns out she did try reaching out and he wanted nothing to do with her all those tears were very much fake, and I can say is someone who was raised in a similar situation I’ve seen how my father behaves he will make himself to be the victim, but behind closed doors, that they really miss treat you or they have a lack of care. I understand why she would want to have a relationship with her mom and her stepdad instead of her father, because I can see right through the fog and by the sounds of their relationship, it wouldn’t make sense why she would not tell the truth. He was an absent father.

Please law makers, make a law that every mother and father, either marriage or not must take a DNA of every child they have to preventing fathers from performing their duties as fathers.
It will be impossible to pass a law in the US requiring people to give DNA. Not ever going to happen. But you make a good point. I wonder how difficult it is to take a woman to court to require a DNA test. I mean what are the consequences for her not showing up for the test? Men don´t show up, he is the father by default. If the woman doesn´t show up, can the man declare himself the father?
@jasonito23 I believe the opposite happens if the mother refuses the DNA test. The man will be declared not the father and the case would get dropped.

I blame the mother in the first case, she did deprive that man from having a relationship with his daughter by lying and not fully knowing who the father was because she was messing around with multiple boys at a young age and of course the daughter is going to be more remorseful towards her mom because that’s who she’s most familiar with. Hopefully, the daughter will allow her father to be in her life because he seems like a good dude - not perfect but a good dude.

It happens everyday, women use children as Pawns and the court system allows it most of the time. Kids grow up hating their father because of the decisions the mom made.

2nd time one of these brought me to tears. That first case. 💔 But they were kids that needed help from the adults in the situation. I hope they can build a bond. My parents divorced when I was 5. My dad was in and out for almost 15 years. But later we were able to reunite. He built a wonderful relationship with my brother and I (our sister, who was the oldest saw him but never fully forgave him). He eventually apprenticed my brother as an electrician for 10 years. Skills that earn him a 6 figure salary today and provide well for his wife and children. My dad walked me down the aisle. He was there when our children were eventually born and fell in love with them. He was an awesome grandpa. He eventually passed away at 78 due to heart failure and had dementia. Those years together were so precious. We have twins that he never met and would have adored. It breaks my heart but I'm so thankful for my daddy. ❤❤❤
1st story, can’t stand when some women try to destroy a man’s credibility when men have been straight up.
His uncle told him he wasn’t the father and now this women is acting like this man was just irresponsible and never cared. Women in his family guilted him into being there. And he tried until the natural fear EVERY MAN HAS started to influence his decision.
This woman had a bf and was sleeping with the plaintiff at least. This women wasn’t responsible never got a dna test for her daughter knowing she was sleeping with multiple men.
He was there despite her and her father’s lies for a few years. She couldn’t keep it up front and get a dna test. That’s her mothers fault.
Giving this young girl a tracking number is unacceptable.

The first guy I feel bad for the dad...the mom played tons of games...bio dad just wanted answers....she up in court high and mighty with her new husband but she told two men they were dad...then her dad told bio dad he wasn't the dad...smh..they turned the daughter against that man..mom needs to take responsibility and give this guy a break!
