Rustbelt tip for the t55 bolts, throw them in the trash and go to your local autoparts store and buy ones that have an 18mm head exactly like the brake caliper bracket bolts. saves so much headache when you have to remove them. (Edit): you can get them at Advance Auto Parts.
Why he cleaned the old hub, probably used some clips from this video in other videos: brake rotor etc. Threadlocker is called for by the factory service manual on the caliper bracket bolts. Use it. Stay gold.
Very good video, I liked that attention was paid to the small details as well as very descriptive directions on the job. My hub was seized on so bad it took awhile to get off with a ton of beating with a sledge hammer. One question I have and if anyone can answer id appreciate it greatly. I ordered my new hub and the ABS cable was too short so I used the old one, upon test driving one time briefly the brakes did something weird don't know if they have to reset? Or if there's an issue with using the old cable
