- We install an incredible ride plate on the new 2023 yamaha superjet.
This thing makes this ski super fun, very loose and playfull. Must have for all superjets at least to use on occasion. After installing we hit the lake and try it out. Enjoy!

I like your attitude. It's slipping and sliding all over the place and you like the challenge. Right on man! Also, that GoPro mounted on front, I'd have the GoPro Floaty wrapped around it just in case it were to break away from the ski. Great vid and edit and look forward to your progress with this ride plate.
It keeps it fun FoSho! Thanks for the GoPro tip, you cant see it but that bow cam is actually lashed to the bow eye with paracord. I just put my PWC free ride plate on lastnight and rode it today but I also added the quick steer kit along with it(already had the riva grate and free flow exhaust)
Both the ride plate with the quick steer made this ski so much more fun to ride it holds an edge when you want it too and slips and slides when you throw your hips into it

In all honesty, I am NOT a professional level rider and was really trying all this stuff out to find what I really liked. So currently Riva intake and ProWatercraft freeride plate are super fun and challenging. However; I plan to go to lake Havasu this spring and try my ski out on the bouy course. I will absolutely be going back to Riva ride plate with the Riva intake grate for that. It is WAY stable in that configuration and I think I could really rail around those bouys Thanks again for the support👊🏽

Hey dude, love all your videos. Thank you for posting so much about the new super jet. I just got one and I’m really torn on which intake grate/ ride plate set up. I plan on mostly riding buoys and racing any input?
Thank you so much for the support @KingsOfKush🤙🏽 I’ve tested a few different setups and when I go ride buoys it’s a real grippy plate like the Riva one I did the video on. And for the grate anything scooped helps me keep the pump loaded and eliminates the cavitation slide out stuff. It also gives you some brakes. I like my Riva grate but I would have bought, and still want to try, the water cross of Texas scoop grate, unfortunately it wasn’t out yet. Good luck dude let us know what you settle on!
@@adudeadad right on thanks for the response. I’ve heard some things like you might need to grind on the WCOT grate to get it to fit and the Riva fits perfectly but the WCOT looks a lot more aggressive so gotta make up my mind!!
I’ve heard all those exact same things. The Riva stuff is pretty plug and play!

I’m sure, but I’m not very good, and it’s way harder not having that wide stance and seat to squeeze with your knees. Super challenging so far! Thanks for watching🤙🏽
Riva or freestyle ride plate ?
Riva for carving, Freestyle for the freestyle days. I’m keeping them both and using them both. Super easy change out. Thanks for checking us out!🤙🏽
Yeah I ride tight Marsh so I think I’m going with the Riva
Oh yeah! That would be perfect. Sometimes the freestyle plate will just let go and send you sliding straight into the reeds.
