I chose an aluminum pipe over the silicone one with my experience coming from cars however i notice more of a hesistation off idle. I know theres a tps adjustment that people do
Great videos, Bret! I'd love to see a comparison or hear your further thoughts on how the SJ1050 compares to the SXR1500. I have a modded SJ701 and I'm looking for a second ski. I love the handling and playfulness, but I'm pinning the throttle basically everywhere and feel like I need more. I'm torn between getting the SXR for the power and rough water ability, or waiting for the 1050 to be restocked for the more nimble handling. Bearing in mind that I'll be keeping the 701, which way would you go? I don't have enough space to store 3 skis.
Depends on if you want something really good out of the box or something that will need a couple grand to compete with its rival... SXR all the way. You can find them very lightly used for half the price of an SJ.
Have you found that the riva free flow exhaust caused a drop in power when paired to the stock ski as in this video. Some report a loss until some major tuning and prop work is done.
Someone please help me how could I order the 2021 SJ , I live in the middle east (Kuwait) and it’s may not be available to purchase this summer .. any advice?
to get the full benefit of the parts, a tune is definitely ideal. however, all of the parts i reviewed can be installed on a stock engine and work excellently.

I haven’t noticed any loss actually the opposite I saw half a mile on an hour increase in top speed
