Me and my brother are both against each other with the super light and g502. I’ve got pretty big hands so the g502 with its weight feels right but my bro has smaller hands so super light feels like it has the perfect weight size. I enjoy having the extra binds on my mouse as I play a variety of games but I’ve heard it’s not the best for your aim. Either way they are both great mice.
So you can hit flick shots faster and it doesn't put as much stress on your wrist and hand. I've always used heavy mice but I'm glad the g502x is around 100 grams. It's perfect, not too heavy and not too light.
Heavy mouses are better for me because I use 1600 DPI with high sensitivity anyway so I don't move my mouse so much, if my mouse were lighter then I might not control it easily.
@@inreisen exactly! people like us that have lazy arm or a bit or weaker hands like me i cant move much and requiures high dpi with multiple button functions
Light better for competitive fps because of physics. F (Force) =m (mass) * a (acceleration). Lighter a mouse is less force it will require to move against the friction generated by moving it across the mousepad, allowing you to flick it faster while shooting targets in fps games. This also inherently leads to less hand strain after hours of gaming. However, if you are not a competitive fps gamer, it really does not matter much :)
I got the G502 before the G502 X, but they're basically the same. Anyway I got it because I could free up a key on my keyboard aka my pickup button which is the "sniper" button but also I've been thinking to change the dpi ones to free up more keys because I only use 1 dpi. I also chose this mouse because I used to get loads of hand cramps.
I got the superlight because of the wireless charging. The mouse wheel stopped working right some weird glitch where scrolling up and down makes it suddenly go the opposite way. I guess it had to do with getting dirty? Someoen said spray some wd40 to help and yeah that fixed the scrolling problem but broke the ability to push on the wheel to change the dpi. Fun stuff so I looked for a new mouse and found the logitech g502 x plus. Also missed the extra buttons.
I tried both the Logitech G502 X Plus, and the Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2, i would say the Logitech G Pro X Superlight is much better and much more comfortable. and a very speedy mouse.
@ It was a while ago but I recall fixing the issue by trying to customize the buttons through macro settings instead of just remapping. However if you are struggling to choose between these two, I would highly recommend checking out Pulsar Xlite V3 ES. It is a perfect merge of ergo mouse and super light mouse. I have both g502x and superlight, but I’m using Pulsar for gaming mostly.
i have g502x lightspeed, only downside after exchanging my old asus tuf m3 (great budget mouse, only reason that i bought g502x is wish for wireless and more buttons) is far too rigid wheel when not using free wheel, and rolling back when scrolling in free mode (too sensitive)
lovely video, but sorry for this question: I didnt understood if there's some difference between the red gpx and the black one, cause on paper it seems the same, but somebody saying on reddit that has different latency or click build quality, I trust in your reply sincerely, if you know some difference or it's just a color change

It depends on the games you play. If you use the buttons on the mouse often, you should consider the 502, if you don't use them or if two buttons are enough, check the superlight. But tbh, if you come from the G Pro Wireless, the upgrade won't really be noticeable

Finally a good honest review. Everywhere else people will just say G502 X is bad because it's heavy, but both have their pros and cons

My biggest issue with the G502X is that the extra buttons except for m4/m5 have a huge delay when you remap them
the delay still going? I'm between these two mice and it will be a gamebreaker if they have a delay.

the main clicks are fcking heavy to push on 502 x, making it delayed. Also, you have to have big long thumb to fit perfectly to sniper button

It's the optical mechanical hybrid design. Meant to be optical but with a ping

The G502..You can set binds to both your batteries and both of your shields..So you never have to touch your keyboard to heal/shield
