that was great but i feel you lost an opportunity to delve a bit more into the "time issue" which seems to be the main trigger. Perhaps a question to address this "time" question would have been; 1) So what would not having enough time look like? 2) what would happen if you did not have enough time? By asking these questions, the idea is to get to the crux of the fear in regards to time management. Probability is that at the end of the session, time management was probably not the issue but something else deeper than that... anyway jus my thoughts, otherwise i enjoyed the video. keep doing what you doing
Great comments. And you're bang on, the crux of the issue is rarely what is presented but often lies much deeper. You might enjoy our video on "the gap" which shows a way to identify the deeper issues that clients bring.
As a coaching demonstration I enjoyed the brief lesson, my question is that if this was an hour session would it have looked different? Would you have investigated any cognitive dissonances? I have so many questions hahaha. Thank you for the demo 🌻
In a whole hour session there's lots that you could do here. You could 'teach' your client this model and work through an example with them, or take longer to work through the model going deeper at each phase. Things may come up as you explore work through the questions which you may then choose to explore further and take action around.
CBC is one of the core modules in our ILM 5 and 7 programme. We also go much deeper into how Emotions are interlinked in our Emotions Coaching Practitioner Training. You can find details of both on our website and if you want to chat any options through you can contact us there :)
This was great. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you, very helpful :)
You're welcome!
