Always enjoy watching the journeys and travel days they are so fun. Ahh, that little smile from Archie, so cute. Hi Dave and Sue, it is a lovely site. Yes we feel our awning is just the right size for us to manage. Just big enough for 2-3 chairs and our table. Well the collapse pipes were a little failure the u bend collected the water. So don’t laugh but we used a plastic pop bottle the neck fitted on the tap pipe perfectly and the bottle fitted the hole of the waste container perfectly and the container was then straight under the tap. 🤣 Glad you enjoyed the drone footage more in the next video. @@gallivantinggalantes that’s brilliant improvisation! 😃. I bought the wrong whale pump attachment for our Aquaroll and so ended up using two 1.5 litre bottles - walking backwards and forwards to the tap which was about 50 yards away. Must have done about 3 miles 😃

Whohooo- 800 subscribers. Well done! I've got the fig chutney on the simmer and now time to relax. I promised myself YT time today- both watching and editing. How did the chutney creep up on me is a mystery 🤣. Anyway, what a great escape this turned out to be. Another part of the UK unknown to me. Here we have what's known as the 'grey wave' - after schools are back the 'grey brigade' is on the loose. Is that the same as in the UK? Is that why campings ( with camper vans) are still well used? It is Autumn break here now so we are staying home 🤣. Love the drive and the drone tour of the camping ground. A great travel log video Tony and Julie. Lovely to see your experiences on the road. Hi Teresa, so pleased you enjoyed watching our Bowness on Windermere video, and you are going to visit next spring. It’s a 10 min walk to the lake from the campsite, I’m sure you will like it. We will definitely be going back as we really enjoyed our stay there. The awning is a Dometic Leggera 220 S it can be used on a Motorhome or caravan. The top of the awning slides through the canopy. It isn’t a drive away awning. But it is pretty easy to put up and the front archway inflate s. As our van is only 6 m we didn’t want too big an awning. We like it. Hope that helps x Julie and Tony x

Whohooo- 800 subscribers. Well done! I've got the fig chutney on the simmer and now time to relax. I promised myself YT time today- both watching and editing. How did the chutney creep up on me is a mystery 🤣. Anyway, what a great escape this turned out to be. Another part of the UK unknown to me. Here we have what's known as the 'grey wave' - after schools are back the 'grey brigade' is on the loose. Is that the same as in the UK? Is that why campings ( with camper vans) are still well used? It is Autumn break here now so we are staying home 🤣. Love the drive and the drone tour of the camping ground. A great travel log video Tony and Julie. Lovely to see your experiences on the road. Hello Anita, yes 800 we did have 801 but it’s vanished ha ha. Oooh fig chutney that sounds good. Yes Bowness on Windermere is a lovely place to visit. Can be rather busy in the summer time. This was September. We show you the marina and lake Windermere in our next vid s. Yes exactly when the children are back at school the older generation go on their hols. Hi Teresa, so pleased you enjoyed watching our Bowness on Windermere video, and you are going to visit next spring. It’s a 10 min walk to the lake from the campsite, I’m sure you will like it. We will definitely be going back as we really enjoyed our stay there. The awning is a Dometic Leggera 220 S it can be used on a Motorhome or caravan. The top of the awning slides through the canopy. It isn’t a drive away awning. But it is pretty easy to put up and the front archway inflate s. As our van is only 6 m we didn’t want too big an awning. We like it. Hope that helps x Julie and Tony x
