This video is very helpful. I live in Kolkata, which is very humid and I work out almost every day. So for me, my wavy hair routine was a daunting task since I had to wash my hair very frequently with many steps, and every time I would end up looking like either an oily mess or a frizz ball🥲! After watching your video I have come to the conclusion that I will reduce the steps and shampoo my hair every third day or as my scalp requires. Then I will do the conditioning part and apply a one-and-done gel. Let's see what happens🤞🤞.

Hey, I've low porosity 2c loose curl pattern. I'm currently using Love Beauty shampoo, reequil murumuru conditioner, curl up curl cream and arata curl gel (the yellow one)...But my hair is prone to over moisturization and the curl pattern doesn't look good on and from the 3rd day (sometimes even on the 2nd day). It becomes softly frizzy, sometimes I don't even get any gel cast to SOTC🥲🥲🤌🏻 I want a strong hold and a lighter conditioner for my low porosity hair with a better slip for detangling. I also face a problem, when wet detangling my hair i lose too much hair, i know the fact the I'll face some hair loss and that's natural, but mine will even freak you out. So is there any tip you can give? And thank you for always replying to every queries of mine. You made me understand my hair type. Lots of love ❤

Ahh okay. The white and blue bottle. I must have featured it in my old video. I shot it 2 years ago. Back then we had to make do with what we had. All these new products were not available to us back then. The Northwish Naturals leave in conditioner contains a small protein called Arginine. Arginine (an amino acid) can penetrate the hair shaft, it is very well tolerated by low porosity hair. So you should be fine.
I still don't understand porosity of hair because my hair doesn't ovserve any oil, mask , anyhing i use it is getting drier and having knots and i can't handle it i have to cut these knots, and also my scalp is very sensitive so whatever i applies on my hair my hairfall become worst😢😢😢

I've answer in point form. 1. With trial and error you'll understand by the look and feel of your hair when it's perfectly moisturising. 2. Changing locations will not change the hair from straight to wavy/frizzy. Hormones and age impact the hair. Try a styling routine and see if your hair waves/curls. On porosity: the glass test is not an accurate test. You can watch my porosity video. You can check my protein moisture balance playlist. Oils: I mentioned in this video itself.

Sounds good. You want me to show you other ways of styling your hair? I don't like to keep things rigid. Once in a while it's a healthy practice to explore other styles if your hair is healthy. Moderation is key. Extremes don't work for me. I personally gave myself permission to use heat 4 times a year during winter. Haven't done much of it because of my current circumstances. I could show you some heatless options I've used. Does that work?

If you're washing your hair every single day, you could try the curl up cowash. Wet hair, apply the product and rinse off. No other steps needed. It's effective for regular washers. Or just use any moisturising shampoo and moisturizing conditioner you already own. If your hair is very dry then you could use a leave in. I personally would avoid extra steps if I were washing every single day.

Try using a heated flaxseed cap on your hair every time you condition the hair. It's surprising how different the hair will be with the exact same products but using heat while conditioning. Trust me, I tried it once and my hair was so so soft and shiny. A gamechanger FR!

The products I've suggested in this video are for low porosity hair. I've done a full review of the northwish products. It wouldn't be my recommendation for low porosity hair, except the ones specifically mentioned here.

Don't use them as you would a traditional oil. Do a dry refresh technique. For daily basis use, it will work better. You can use growth serums daily too. If you're using one that gives you a cast, scrunch it out in the morning.

Hi Michelle.. i have scalp psoriasis.. so i oil my scalp once a week..and shampoo wash it every alternate day.. can u please suggest a shampoo that can be used this regularly.. and be light and clensing.. i now use sunsilk aloevera coconut shampoo and conditioner.. but my hair feels frizzy and dull..
I don't think it would be right for me to recommend anything to you. I don't have the expertise here. It may be a good idea to use a dermatologist recommended shampoo.

Arata leave in conditioner made my hair more dry. It even took away the conditioner effect from my hair and made it super dry and frizzy

Don't think we have a protein free clarifying shampoo. All the products in the video are protein free. Mentioned multiple leave-ins and curl creams.

i have low-medium hair porosity and despite using a conditioner (i used wow conditioner) my hair still puffs up if i dont put a little serum or hair oil, im aware i have wavy hair but can u suggest 1single product that i could use as a one and done?

Don't use them as you would a traditional oil. Do a dry refresh technique. For daily basis use, it will work better.
You can use growth serums daily too. If you're using one that gives you a cast, scrunch it out in the morning.

Hi Michelle.. i have scalp psoriasis.. so i oil my scalp once a week..and shampoo wash it every alternate day.. can u please suggest a shampoo that can be used this regularly.. and be light and clensing.. i now use sunsilk aloevera coconut shampoo and conditioner.. but my hair feels frizzy and dull..
I don't think it would be right for me to recommend anything to you. I don't have the expertise here. It may be a good idea to use a dermatologist recommended shampoo.
