Oh my! I felt so identified with your hair. I think we 2C people are the most misunderstood 'cause our hair is like almost curly but not really curly. It's still wavy even though we wanted it to be like an spiral, the spiral simply doesn't get to form! And it's so frustrating!! 'cause you feel like if you had a broke 3A. And almost all curly influencers and content creators are 3A ➡️ And we, the wavy ones are kinda like abandoned by the curly community and no one seem to understand us. But today I felt so understood by you. Being a man that let his hair growth for the first time and realizing his hair is not straight to later try curly routines to discover these doesn't completely work on him to later realizing his hair is wavy, but wavy routines either work for him cause even though his hair is wavy, it's closer to the 3A type than 2A/B type, it's not easy. Today I felt completely understood by you
omg bro i also have 2C low porosity hair. my hair looks exactly like yours when yours is wet and everything you said about absorption really resonated with me. i will be going based off this video to try and make my first curly/wavy hair routine. thank you so much! also on a side note, i simply love your attitude and agree with everything you said about people's perception of wavy hair. thanks again for the video :)
Yay! Thanks so much for the low porosity wavy content! Please give us more! I’m finally figuring out that my hair is low porosity and it’s a nightmare trying to find stuff that works! Because my hair rejects product, I get buildup even from shampoo and conditioner! It’s so hard to just keep my scalp and strands clean! Annoyingly half the products on the market that are marketed as “weightless” or “weightless moisture” have niacinamide in them, which causes skin reactions for me, so I struggle so much to keep my hair clean, let alone styled wavy! My sensitive skin gets irritated so easily by hair products so I feel like I can’t buy stuff without regretting it. Have you ever had issues with residue from shampoo and conditioner? Do you look for certain ingredients when you shop for your low porosity wavy hair? Based on my research so far the two most interesting stylers in my mind for low po hair are the DesignMe BounceMe curl balm and JessiCurl Spiralicious Gel because they seem super lightweight (something I know we low po people tend to look for). Btw have you tried the Sally Beauty Texture ID low porosity line? I wish I could try it but can’t get it in my country! Maybe you’d like it? Also are you following @sumans.waves ? She also does wavy low porosity content! Thanks so much for this video! I feel seen! Now following your channel :)
Can you please make a video on showing what your routine is for the rest of the week ? I’m trying to get a general idea of how to care for my hair as I believe we have similar hair texture
I always say the same thing to anyone who likes to say that someone's hair only is wavy/curly due to products that they use: Try it on yourself or someone who got pin straight hair if you don't have that yourself. If the hair is truly straight, then no amount of products or scrunching will produce anything. At best you might get some little waves that will be stringy and that will be gone in a few minutes after your hair has dried. If your hair/"straight" hair manages to produce actual ringlets/waves all around your head, ones that don't go away after the hair is dried at that, then your hair isn't straight. Anyone who tries to claim "yea I can make my hair look like [hair in this video] if I do the same thing and I have straight hair" is clearly lying. Your hair in that case isn't straight, or you are using tools that people with straight hair use to curl their hair. Anything else is fiction.
Your hair looks lovely ! I'm wondering how you figured out all the products to use & in what order. I ask because my hair is 2C, low porosity, too. I wash it & let it dry. Lately I've been trying mousse. I use a hair mask about once a week & I'll leave it on for an hour or so. I use hair oil ....I massage it into my scalp. But you use way more products & your hair looks terrific. I agree about a haircut. I think I need one to help my hair look better. This was an interesting video to watch. Thank you!
For those that think putting curly products on your hair is what makes your hair curly, try those products on someone who doesn't have curly hair. Can guarantee that it won't make much of a difference! 2C/3A I do get spirals, long skinny ones! But yes, low porosity is so hard. You have to be really careful with your products... and the biggest thing I learned after like a year was to add more and more water. Low porosity hair doesn't hold on to water so my curls were stringy. With more water, they're still fairly stringy but not nearly like it was before. I have trouble with getting a gel cast. I also have bangs and they are a bit tricky with curly hair. Yours look way better than mine. I do not look good with shorter hair but your hair turned out so cute I sorta want to cut mine off.
Im buying a hair mask i also have a low porosity hair, so whats the best ingredient to look for. Alovera gel otr ...,please bear with me, enflish not my first language
i don’t get it wet. occasionally i will wet it and add conditioner if it’s too frizzy for my liking but most of the time i clip it back and do my regular shower routine

this!!!
I’m using costar oil for my scalp and it really helps the itching.
i might have to try this out!
@@isabellaajean castor oil is a heavy one for low porosity hair. It will weigh down your hair and cause more frizz.
Your hair looks so cute!

Your hair is super pretty
your result is amazing! you look cute btw and thanks for your tips🙌🏻

Your hair looks amazing! Are there any other hail oils you like rather than the olaplex? It’s a bit expensive that’s all
yes!! i also use the OGX renewing argan oil. it’s around $10.99 on amazon and lasts so long
“your hair isn’t curly cause you take care of your hair and i don’t 🤬🤬🤬”

This might be a dumb question, but when you say you only wash your hair once a week, do you still get it wet when you bathe???
No, people typically put their hair in a shower cap for the shower. Making it wet would ruin the style
i don’t get it wet. occasionally i will wet it and add conditioner if it’s too frizzy for my liking but most of the time i clip it back and do my regular shower routine
Have you done a video of you dressing up and doing your hair like Betty boop ❓♥️
will this work on 2b/normal porosity hair too?? im a beginner and just trying to get an idea of where to start😭
i’m sure it will! maybe try applying on damp hair rather than soaking wet :)
how does it take you so little time to diffuse? my hair takes at least an hour and if I try to rush it my hair gives me revenge
aw man 😭 it’s different for everyone i guess
my idiot cow sister never takes care of her her so i’m showing this to her in hopes that she’ll start, ty for this video xx
So beautiful
Im watching this in the same shirt #hogwarts
This is straight hair 🥱 #poser
