How about for the next round you have a list of good, all-around atmospheric music. Then you can add the Pilotwings 64 hanglider song and Klonoa's final stage song (I know, both aren't SNES...but still amazing)

Nice stuff. It's true, water themes have a special quality about them regardless of the game. I will say I'm surprised to see no Serpent Trench here, it's a big favorite of mine. FF5 had a good water theme, too. I would also have included a Kirby Super Star track. :) Not complaining, though. Thanks for the playlist. All very good.
Not really a water level, but Island of Ruins sound track from Ardy Lightfoot has one of the most ridiculously calming rhythms I've heard, and sounds like it would fit in with a track from Chrono Trigger. Actually, Ardy Lightfoot in general deserves more recognition, it's one of the least documented SNES games on youtube sadly.

Yo! If you haven't heard of Super Castlevania 4's "The Waterfall" (or for that matter, the entire soundtrack), you should listen to it -- especially try playing the stage the song appears in. You'll love it!

Undersea Palace only plays for a few seconds before skipping to the next track, and the timestamps after that go to the end of each track instead of the beginning... Other than that it's pretty good, lots of my favorites mixed in with neat music i haven't heard before :)

Mystic quest was my introduction to Final fantasy along with FF2 US. An extremely underrated game that has amazing music.
