Colostomy Bag Change

Colostomy bag change for my best friend who has had ALS for 10 years. Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis or Lou Gherig's Disease. Verterans are twice as likely than normal population to have ALS. My friend is a 14 year Verteran of the Iowa Army National Guard (two tours: Iraq and Afghanistan)

What happen to him? looks have a lot of tubes attached to his body.. my brother got 2 (trache and peg tubes)

I have 2 stomas due to cancer I had .y rectum,vagina removed along with all other female things. I wanted to know why u put the bag on sideways? It takes me less than 10 min to change both.
