That Brew Metric is STILL tough to find at retail even a year later. I had a chance to pick one up at Wind-Up Watch Fair's Brew booth this summer and am kicking myself for not pulling the trigger.
I love Brew & Studio Underd0g really great style of watches. The only one I would suggest for this list would be the Baltic MR01 watch, vintage look & at $545 doesn't break the bank.

You have actually surprised me with some of your choices there. You almost have as much bonkers tastes as I have! I do like the 80s retro one but using a Seiko VK with a ticking subdial… I never understand why Seiko make a mecaquartz that gives you a smooth tick chrono hand which is usually only a 30 minute chrono. They should really make the standard second hand the smoother one or do away with it completely and make the chrono a 12 hour function. Still surprised you don’t own a Straton, Or do you?
You should try and by the new horage superseed. I am in love with it but unfortunately it is a bit out of my possibilities at the moment but they look very well bilt and you get a serious piece watchmaking for a reasonable price
Another great episode from Damien.. this time he brings out the "cheaper " watches in his fabulous collection. No Rolex or Patek watches in this line up. But all are worthy to own. He enthuses over the crazy Day of The Dead, with its luminous dial. Who doesn't want a watch with a skeleton guitar player on the back? The funky Watermelon would look cool by the pool, but the pick, for me, is the Brew, which unfortunately sold out a while ago. Damien has led me down another rabbit hole...
That was a refreshing change; cheers, Damian. Very interested in a video about a slightly higher price bracket too. Personally I like REC, especially their RJM Bluebird which has a section of Spitfire wing in it. Like me, I trust you're getting excited by the imminent release of the Nezumi x Ruf 2.0 Yellowbird?

I’m a big fan on Panzera Damian, worth checking them out… similar prices to what you’ve shown today…. I love the Brew watch best, will be checking them out for sure

Hi Damien another fantastic video and one I can definitely relate to as microbrands are my thing " I don't have the funds for your luxury pieces I wish I did". The ordering has changed at Helm though since you purchased one as of last December as so many people couldn't pick one up after they became so popular. They now have a wait list you sign up to but its honestly harder to pick one up than a Rolex I signed up straight away but I waited 8 months to get a Khuraburi and I still have at least another 5 months to wait for my Komodo they are quite literally the Rolex of the microbrand world. Brands I would highly recommend to you are Direnzo, Straton, Baltic, Second Hour, NTH, Mitch Mason and Zelos.
Damien, I saw a post you made questioning your decision to make this type of video. When I was notified by TH-cam that you posted the video, I went to see what it was about and knew it wasn't for me by the title. My Seiko watches tend to fill this category and the last thing I need is more watches in this price range. It took quite a while to reduce my number in this range to just a few. So, after your prompting I went back and watched. I always enjoy your videos and the backstory as to how you decided to add the particular piece. You have spoiled us with some great and stunning watches. That being said, I find none of these watches to be either interesting or appealing. You would be safe frequenting the dodgiest areas with one of these on your wrist. The mugger would probably run away while shielding his eyes. The Day of the Dead watch has a certain appeal, but it being a chronograph is just too much. Just posting this comment to help with the TH-cam numbers game. Not looking for any reaction.
@@TheWatchGuysTV I get that it's unusual and fresh, but somehow not my cup of tea by a long stretch ;) Love the ST-1901 despite its reputation, though, and the upcoming desert sky seems a bit more agreeable to me.
