Very cool watch! Love the design and colors, but $900 is a VERY steep ask. I think it will probably still sell out because of people hoping to re-sell for higher
@alfieakaronaldog from another vid I saw they can only be pre-ordered on like November 2nd or something (1 day) and only between certain hours which vary by time zone but it's like 11-8 gmt time. (Do not quote me on that exact date and time) Brittany Pearce had it listed in her vid description for each time zone and she mentions the date in the vid towards the end.
Very much appreciate that Studio Underd0g went to great length to ensure the screws on the dial point in the same direction. Was told far to often that's not possible, mainly by people that've never opened a caseback...
@@DC-uf6vethat makes no sense, if they've spent money achieving something, that has to be paid for. Claims this is a sub £500 watch are stupid, it's Swiss movement and assembled in Britain.
@@alfieakaronaldog Have seen four reviewers taking extensive macro shots of all four models now and whilst some I have seen have minor differences between the heads direction, those appear to be at most 2° and thus are basically unnoticable without magnification. Basically, they really put the effort in to achieve a really challenging engineering goal, but then again, that makes sense considering the person behind Studio Underd0g. The price is a bit steep for me. One I love, but still. 500 for a chrono is one thing, but 800 for a field a bit much for me personally. Shame, as it looks great. Another microbrand heading towards 'unattainable'
Pricing is pretty much in line with anything else that has a SW210-1 so don't really see the concern there. The screws remind of a CEX employee with cheek piercings though lol

I much prefer the first release. The mint choc chip is incredible, even more so than the watermelon. The price difference especially tips my preference towards the older models.
Not a bad watch, but its hard to see why anyone would pay more for this than their original chrono. Even at the same price Im taking the chrono over this no question (and I own the the watermelon so Im not just talking here). For $900 you could get a Hamilton khaki bronze, something from Christopher Ward, a Seiko Alpinist, the list goes on...
I'm a bit disappointed with this, nice touches, good size but I was expecting some braver colour options and 800 notes is twice as expensive as it ought to be. I'll still have the 01 series watermelon if it ever becomes available but will pass on this. I wish Richard, Rich and Ricky well though, and will look forward to the 03 series as I'm sure this will do OK.
This is another purely marketing example. They use Chinese made mechanics with actually quite average design. Selling it at 600usd...one can get a much more interesting watch made by small Chinese companies at half of the price....
If nobody likes it & the cries are "only made one good album" well Studio Underd0g are the Stone Roses of the watch world. One good album but by God what an album it was....
1:42 Yes! Mike Tyson said, “Everyone thinks they want a Rolex until they get punched in the mouth.” Thoughts: design is great! It’s not a Seagull movement! But 37mm is a bit small, although it is truer to vintage sizes.
I was going to say that as I have the field watch space already covered in my collection that I'll pass. Well I feel the need to get one of these brilliant takes on the field style at some point. The only trouble is to decide on which one. So many watches yet so little time and not enough wrists.
If you come up to a solution, preferably until the end of the month, please let me know! I love the Steffany Blue and Black dial one. Buuuut the pink lemonade is just so studio underd0g…
Looks nice, but mediocre movement. Obvious cash grab on the part of the guy whose claim to fame is a quirky dial color choice on the initial version. This might fly in the sub 200 USD range, but is a joke at the asking price.
The price I see on the site is 850 euros. Don't know if they took into consideration I'm in the EU. Read their info on shipping and tax. Not very clear ( a simple *ext tax next to the prices would have been ideal ) but I expect these will be 850 + VAT. That's 1028 euro. And if it's faulty (never mind don't like it, simply) and have to send it back, we'll have to find out if we can/how to recover the VAT payed. Funny how Brexit turned up, heh? It's an excellent watch. It is unique which is not the easiest thing to achieve nowadays. Personally i would've loved it to be 38/39mm as i've an 8in wrist and i worry it is too small for me
Yeah, looks lovely. But how about a proper preview?! I bought one of the first series (Mint Choc Chip) and it does look lovely. But. Straps way way too short. Crown so small it's a bugger to wind up. And so on. Stylistically they are great. But as a practical watch? I will not touch a Series 2 without seeing a review from someone else guys. You focus on the positives - and that's OK. The floating sapphire dial, lume and colorways are brilliant. The hands, however, are underwhelming. I think a cathedral style hand set would have worked well, especially with the lume. I also think that chrome hex or torx screws for the dial would work better that slotted screws. Nevertheless, Richard Benc has demonstrated that he is not a one hit wonder.
Not a fan. They must have known the screws would chop the fans in half, seems obvious to me. The case back is from the diver watch they stopped production on LOL. Pros some nice lume and the pink lemonade is ok for a summer watch. The black dial with screws is passable but no great lume.
$900 for a microbrand generic dial field watch without even a bracelet. No thank you. Compare that to Zelos who just put out better looking field watches w bracelets for only $300.
