Many people have attested to the video and I must give the same advice. So I started looking for alternatively and landed on this video. Watched it twice, made some notes and along another exam cram video boom. Yes, I spent more time on the exam than others, but I believe I would've been much more confident starting off here. Hats off. Video had appropriate amount of width and depth. Thank you !
UPDATE: This certification course now does not expire according to Microsoft updates. The Azure fundamentals certification is valid for life. In summary, all Microsoft Azure fundamental certs are valid for life. Meanwhile, all other certs are valid for 1 year, renewable by taking a non proctored assessment starting from 6 months to its expiry. This is displayed and taken on your account. The assessment can be taken as many times as possible until you pass. If you fail to take the recertification assessment before the 12 months period elapses, your certification will expire and you'll need to sit in once again for a new proctored exam to achieve that certification.
I’m not experienced in IT at all. In fact I’m an airplane mechanic. Trying to go into IT now, I took MTA Sec fundamentals and passed now onto AZURE. Gonna watch this video and study with online resources, taking the test in about 2 weeks so I’ll report back. Thanks for putting this together. Let’s GOOO!

Managed to pass this exam after watching this video only (no practice exams or anything). I would advise to check out Azure Blueprints and Azure Advisor in more detail as I had a few questions about it. Also the exam had some concrete use cases when it comes to solutions for a company in transition to Azure. Other than that, great video thanks!
This video was my foundation for the exam, however, I would highly recommend buying a practice exam set. The explanation is excellent at every factor. Just passed my exam!!! If you want to fasten things up within 1-2 days then this video is the one and if you are a book person then Microsoft learn resources will be good as there is mostly reading and less video and takes more time to finish up 6 modules there. Try this video with either 1.25 or1.5 speed, and you're good to go.
@@toreg.8905 Within 1 week ,i also used Microsoft Learn to ensure we cover the latest modules that they tend to add in once in a while and sometimes the video might be bit outdated on that part. Rmb to have good look on their SLA/policy part as some might skip it but there will be questions concentrating on that part especially.
I recommend learning using Microsoft free content first because the content there is up to date, i am still in the beginning section and can already notice some changes like fault tolerance and disaster recovery are combined into one definition called reliability and scalability is divided into two types: 1- Vertical(scales computing power up or down; example CPU and RAM). 2- Horizontal (scales virtual machines or container based demand up or down) which is refereed to in the video as elasticity. note: up means to add resources and down to decrease resources used. this is only the beginning sections so later ones will probably have some changes as well.
Thanks for this! I just passed my AZ-900 practice tests! I also watched John Savill's videos and used the Tutorials Dojo practice tests as my final prep. There were new Azure services introduced that are not covered by Andrew's video but all in all, it's still a good introduction.

Many people have attested to the video and I must give the same advice. I started with course on Pluralsight it was 10 hours long and after finished about 90% of it, I realized I have no freaking idea on what is going on. So I started looking for alternatively and landed on this video. Watched it twice, made some notes and along another exam cram video boom. Yes, I spent more time on the exam than others, but I believe I would've been much more confident starting off here. Hats off. Video had appropriate amount of width and depth.
Thank you !
I would love to make a contact with you ?
Hey Andrew, thanks for the detailed video. It was much helpful for the exam. I passed the exam with a score of 865.
Expiring certs is a massive scam, I've always thought.
I passed mine because of this
Scored an 805/1000
Thanks guys will def be coming to you for the developer azure cert training
I’m not experienced in IT at all. In fact I’m an airplane mechanic. Trying to go into IT now, I took MTA Sec fundamentals and passed now onto AZURE. Gonna watch this video and study with online resources, taking the test in about 2 weeks so I’ll report back. Thanks for putting this together. Let’s GOOO!
Good luck!

Just passed the exam with 805. An amazing video summarizing all the required knowledge to pass the exam. Do watch the video of the exam practice questions and you will be good to go. Literally completed the certification in 10 days of prep watching these two videos in 5 days. Didn't even completed the learning paths but not recommended coz I was myself confused in a few questions during exam. Thanks a lot Andrew! After Nov 2020, there is a much larger emphasis on governance, pricing tiers, identity etc. Others waiting to take the exam, check the course outline as well. I got many questions for Azure AD alone.

Very helpful. Thank you

If you want to fasten things up within 1-2 days then this video is the one and if you are a book person then Microsoft learn resources will be good as there is mostly reading and less video and takes more time to finish up 6 modules there.
Try this video with either 1.25 or1.5 speed, and you're good to go.
hello, how long did you have to study to be able to take the az 900 certification?
@@toreg.8905 Within 1 week ,i also used Microsoft Learn to ensure we cover the latest modules that they tend to add in once in a while and sometimes the video might be bit outdated on that part.
Rmb to have good look on their SLA/policy part as some might skip it but there will be questions concentrating on that part especially.
I recommend learning using Microsoft free content first because the content there is up to date, i am still in the beginning section and can already notice some changes like fault tolerance and disaster recovery are combined into one definition called reliability and scalability is divided into two types:
1- Vertical(scales computing power up or down; example CPU and RAM).
2- Horizontal (scales virtual machines or container based demand up or down) which is refereed to in the video as elasticity.
note: up means to add resources and down to decrease resources used.
this is only the beginning sections so later ones will probably have some changes as well.
can you please share any updated link
Thanks for this! I just passed my AZ-900 practice tests! I also watched John Savill's videos and used the Tutorials Dojo practice tests as my final prep. There were new Azure services introduced that are not covered by Andrew's video but all in all, it's still a good introduction.

This entire series contains a ton of value - so thanks a lot for making it available ! BTW the math is simply 99.95 x 99.99 divided by 100 = 99.940005. % Cheers
For the second scenario one can do:
Odds failure sql db: 0.01% => 0.0001
Odds failure Queue: 0.1% => 0.001
Odds failure both same time: 0.0001 *0.001 =0.0000001
Hence, odds at least one is running: 1 - 0.0000001 = 0.9999999 => 99.99999%

Using Microsoft’s own AZ900 course, there is some stuff here that is not quite relevant but overall so far a useful course for when I can’t read the materials myself. One particular instance is the creating your own Azure account section. The current material doesn’t even recommend it, and has a VM learning platform you use within the course itself.
