Nice vid.. that DSL 100 HR is a sleeper.. wanted a JCM 2000 bit i think the newer ones solve a lot of problems and oretty much same orice used.. no brainer
Think i will be getting this amp, i was looking at a mesa mark v and also thearajall jvm 410 but i heatd by a lot of people that they are really noisy. This amp should be everything that i need... I play country, to metal and everything in-between. I already have the dsl 20 and the cleans are pretty awesome for a marshall.
I have this head and I love it! I play on it all the time. Only thing I wish this amp had instead of the red channel would just put maybe a boosting of the green channel for boosting leads would be nice to me. I mean I have a boost pedal, but I am already running in front of amp and effect loops a total of. 16 pedals. Boss and Nemesis Delays, HOF 2 Reverb, Boost , Mooer Radar Amp /Cab, Mooer pre Amp EQ 2 delay pedals, Freqout, Compressor, drop pedal, Valeton Chorus, Capt Silver OD and a Noisegate I really never need. Oha dn Wha JH-1. But this amp still kicks it man. But I do not have this pedal for it yet. I just have the 2 channel footswitch and usually only play the unscooped Green for gain and green clean.
Will the MIDI feature on the back accommodate say a rack mountable multifex unit so that I can have preset 1 crunch dry, preset 2 lead with volume bump and delay, preset 3 crunch with EQ and chorus, etc etc?
I've had my DSL 100 hr for 5 yrs now.... buying that foot switch off Amazon is $149....oh and yes!! Love my DSL, keep on rocking

I would use the 2nd master volume for boosting leads
Nobody cares about your 16 pedals, that usually means you're not that good and need all of them just to sound half decent...

It uses the sounds of the amp, you don’t have to set anything. Just plug it in
Can you have a pedal on only one channel like say the clean has delay but when you switch to dirty it’s dry
Yeah it remembers what is engaged on each channel, so if you are on dirty and turn off effects loop, then go to clean and come back it remembers

there is no programming, it just does it like this when you plug in
You need a JVM to program that footswitch.
