- Three things to keep in mind when picking Kia Sonet over Maruti Suzuki Brezza. First, it's a premium experience. The Sonet is a bit more expensive than the Brezza, but on the inside, it feel way better. It's the choice of the design, materials and features. All of if come together to make it feel like it's in a different league.
Second, the premium diesel automatic experience. The Sonet's diesel engine has been picked out of the Kia Seltos. It's the 1.5-litre engine along with the 6-speed torque convertor. Which means, it is smooth and peppy and really makes it feel premium to drive with the diesel powertrain.
Third, the compromise is in the back seat. The Sonet is narrower than the Brezza which means it's a much better four-seater but its boot space is still pretty solid.

Breeza has much better and reliable engine and gearbox combo.
Breeza is much safer compared to sonet.
Breeza actually feels like a conpact SUV, Sonet is actually pathetic in space management.
And the Diesel MSP of sonet has no value going forward 2023. Its all petrol now.

I just hate Sonet's suspension.. Over the bad roads, we literally can feel everything. And also the insulation is also a bummer.. Road noises come inside which is pretty irritating. I bought a Sonet Diesel Manual and sold it within a year... I personally didn't liked it. Look forward to see if anyone faced similar issues. 😁

2 mins silence to those who just blindly look at NCAP star ratings to assess a car's safety.
A 4 star rating will always be safer than 2 star ratkng no matter how you look at it.

Planning for sonet, 60 percent highway drive and long tours. Should i change?
Is sonet or nexon any automatic worth the extra cost over Exter amt? Especially for a family or four who's running is less than 200 kms per month, mostly city riding.
Also if you can suggest any better option over Exter, want to go for value for money with the less driving.
I10 nios /punch were the main choices before Exter hit

Don't go for diesel at all for sonet at least. I am the owner of a sonet, within 1st yr got dpf issue. They kept the car for 1 month, replaced control unit, dpf unit and diesel nozel. Within 1 month got the same issue again. *Say No to Sonet Diesel*

My brother has an IMT it is very well equipped and costed 12.5lak otr delhi brezza however costs a lot more for the automatic and isn't that well equipped either
I recently bought a magnite xv turbo which costs 10.5L on road. It doesn't have a diesel engine. But CVT is smooth. Apart from sunroof amd ventilated seats, it has everything. Most importantly, it can seat 3 people in the second row with comfort.

Diesel cars can be banned anytime, so it's a bit risky to buy diesel car.

I was a sales exec in Kia, Even if you go to a showroom now, You'll find it hard to get a Diesel Manual or Diesel Auto... The only available transmission in Diesel now is IMT which isn't as good as the Manual... You can ask the Sales exec in any showroom if the Diesel production is going to stop, they'll also tell you the same@@burnttoast9890

Kia sonet is the best diesel auto in the class and Brezza petrol automatic is the worst in class. Just stating the engine gearbox combo.

Both are good car. Sonet is a drivers machine where Breeza is a no nonsense work horse. So it is experience vs utility .
Nice comparison though you missed the biggest point ...Sonet is very well priced for the experience it is offering but Breeza is extremely overpriced . I like brezza's exterior desifn but the quality of plastic and selection of matarial used inside is just better then that of wagon R. And that engine no way worth a million rupees tbh. It struggles go beyond 100 in higway. Maruti is ripping off loyal customers

Hey, Rabbil. No reason to cancel the booking. If the lack of space in the back seat is not an issue for you, then there are no deal breakers as such. The suspension setup can be a bit annoying on bad roads. That's it.

That will be a big mistake . Sonet is the best choice unless you travel with the 5th person most of the time . The engine gear box and suspension will put smile on your face everytime you take the car out . Breeza feels like a bigger wangan R from inside

I sold my Sonet and purchased a Nexon for safety reason. The monetary loss was worth the safety of my family. Kia was the epitome of luxury for me. Nexon feels like a lorry in comparison and lorries are very sturdy yo 😢😅😂
