- Second exclusive comparison of the new 2024 Kia Sonet facelift is here. This time with the good old Maruti Suzuki Brezza. Both the cars were shot together in Bhopal and I try sharing my verdict on these two compact SUVs.

That range rover lookalike rear, window in the c pillar, boxy stance, ride quality.... Just Brezza things ❤
Most sensible comparison. Many potential buyers would have had a second thought on going for Brezza in 2024 after Sonet's facelift and this clarifies it better and gives them better buying decision. Kudos. Do a similar comparison for Elevate vs Creta.

As a DINK, I like Sonet. But the ride comfort and airy cabin and reliability Brezza anyday! Sonet HTX DCT 14.5 Lacs vs Brezza ZXI AT 15 Lacs OTR
Brezza is boxy, good for rear space, comfort and mileage; bad in interior plastics and fittings, common, you will see it in driving classes and costly. Where as Sonet lokk and feel premium, good service, not common, cheap in middle models, feature rich and fun to drive in diesel.

Very true as the higher Alpha variant of Breeza has 360 camera, Head up display etc., etc.,

@@sai4676 And in that segment will be the sonet 1.2. The brezza 1.5 is so much better than the sonet 1.2 in terms of Driveability. But the Diesel and Turbo petrol will be better than brezza

Even if u pay 16L for brezza u get 1.5L engine which feels like driving a celerio

Wonder why you did talk about rear seat width? Brezza back seat width is 50 inches, which is the same as the Creta, while both Sonet and Venue have about the same back seat space as the Ignis, probably marginally better, but nowhere near the comfort of the Brezza.

A non turbo bigger engine is much better than a turbo small engine when it comes to city driving. Also as Brezza automatic has torque converter there is no tension of transmission getting overheated in extremely hot and dense traffic city conditions compared to DCT which has issues with city traffic and hot weather. Brezza any day.
What you said is very true as I had a previous gen Sonet 1.0 Litre Turbo, which is useless in city traffic as it heats up tremendously, as when you stop in the afternoon after a drive, the coolant fan runs for many minutes to cool down the engine, which you will not find in the 1.5 litre naturally aspirated Breeza.
exactly bro. these small sized turbo engines are just paper boats in city traffic. A higher cc NA petrol engine is far better.@@user-mp6id6ng1n

If mileage is mandatory go for Brezza ZXI Plus AT, else Go for Honda Elevate CVT
If you wanna buy a no-nonsense car and like to keep it for a longer period of time, go for Elevate.

Maruti always 1 up in terms of driveability & practicality, 1 or 2 features will aways be more or less but at the end of day driving comfort wins over other things.

I own Brazza at ,I used to get 18+ milage know highways after 3rd service iam getting
Blame it on the break neck Ethanol blending policy of central govt to make easy revenue for govt coffers and their sugar lobby phrends. Your car is running on fuel(legally adulterated I would say) it's not meant to run. I have an XL6 myself. Maruti recommends a max of E10 fuel and now fuel stations are only selling E14-E20 petrol. I too used to get 18kmpl, now it's mostly around 14-15.5kmpl. My car has only run 16500kms till date and is serviced on time and driven sedately
Just check your air filter bro, search Technical Gyan channel you will get how to clean the air filter .....that might be the cause of low average
bro air filter changed during 3rd service , i suspect marutis own 0w-16 low viscosity engine oil which is pumped out of rusty drum by service center guys , i should have gone for same spec shell or castrol oils @@Invincible007
Same here. Just after 3rd service my Brezza 2023 Manual mileage has dropped 2 notches. Looks like Maruti has done something fishy here

Bhai brezza lxi cng onroad price 10.80 hai and sonet htk petrol 10.40 me aa rahi hai .. brezza lxi cng offering good mileage, spacious cabin but having luggage issue and features bhi kam milenge.. sonet is offering all safety features, with additional stylish, technology, entertainment related features but i am not sure about build quality whether its improved or not and secondly iska 1 2 engine kitana mileage degi in city and highway? Which car i need to consider ? Mai ye dono car me confuse hu..
Brezza cng is giving a city mileage of 22 km/kg and highway mileage of 28 km/kg which is incredible which cant be overlooked.
@himanshutiwari90 yes but only issue is with the luggage to carry for long trips also some other features like 6 airbags, hill assist, ebd etc are missing hence I am getting confused
I have the same confusion, Sonet offers a lot of features with HTK
@sumitblaze9153 yes .. that's the main reason for confusion that it's offering more features, stylish look , decent mileage.. am not sure about the build quality

You guys hide the main points for whatever reasons.
Heart of all vehicles is the engine.
Sonet Venue have a downgraded 3 CYLENDER petrol engine, which in the long run will feel overworked and noisy. Even while new, if you rave the engine for overtakes, etc, engine tends to start yelling at you.
Moreover with turbos in these 3 CYLENDERs, engines are pushed to their extreme limits...thus aging the life of engines.
Breeza has a more chilled out 4 CYLENDER engine with adequate 103 hp power and not pushing the engine to its limits thus long term reliability assured.
Indian buyes should think in this angle.
Rest all features are gimmicks to attract customers...

Go for brezza zxi, Engine oil price 1200₹ +100₹ consumbles + labour depend on showroom , paid service cost is less approx 3500 to 3800₹ rupees. Also try xl6 which is spacious and most comfortable car in the MPV segment with same price bracket.
yes even XL6 Zeta base variant is a value for money which no brand can match.
Today had a test drive of sonnet, felt the rear seat cramped and suspension is stiff, less comfort for rear seat passengers… sonnet is no doubt beautiful, feature rich and looks premium…
The previous model of Breeza was better looking than this sci-fi-looking model.
But true is underbody panel became white after six month usage of breeza so think about it its spoiling total look of car 🚗
Apply sarson oil with cotton cloth and rub dry it after good wash of car. I use it every 4 months on my brezza it becomes just like new😊

@@sachinmathur6624 yes sir. Multiple times that too tank to tank me to method. I don’t rely on instrument Cluster mileage as they are not accurate for any cars. On highways I get 20-22 and in city 14-16

But Sonet diesel is really fun to drive and very powerful compared to brezza 1.5.
