I've made mini albums like that too. I put pictures of my Grandson in them. Spots for journaling about the pictures and all the tucks and hiding places you can use. Just like a mini junk journal !!! But with the cutest kid on the planets picture in it !!! ;)

@@lovsbuble That sounds so adorable to make these for your grandson! I did get the idea from the mini photo albums/junk journals I have seen TH-camrs make, but did a little twist on those by making them Go Wild/planner themed.

Bumble reminds me of my Shih Tzu Cooper. I miss him infinitely but your videos with Bumble always make me smile. especially when she grumbles aww

Loved everything and hearing all about it! I, no kidding, had a “Grandma Hope Chest” (you know like the old time “Hope Chest” people did way, way before they got married) before my daughter even got married! She thought this was the most ridiculous thing but it ended up being the best idea ever? While my Grandmother was still alive she made a baby blanket, hand embroidered, everything hand done….in neutral colors with bears because that is what I did my daughter’s nursery in when she was a baby. My Mom and I made thinner “receiving” blankets and burp rags. Then I started collecting for when the children got older, like those stickers, I made a Nannie T, naming myself, embroidered blanket for me. So when my daughter had my grandaughter and she had the baby shower afterwards, I wrapped up that baby blanket I did with “Nannie New”, her great grandmother that was no longer alive, but she had until she was 18 years old, and she unwrapped it, recognized her work, sat there in the chair in a room full of people and full on cried. I hugged her up and said, I guess the “grandma hope chest” wasn’t such a bad idea, I have had that blanket for 15 years! Which made her and everybody laugh. Highly recommend a “Grandma Hope Chest!” Good thing too, I have one child and she will only have one child. That child gets it all! 😂 💕

Just last weekend I was working on my journal and my cats were so interested. As soon as I stood up and walked away one laid on top of my journal, he was not going to go unnoticed lol. I enjoy your videos so much and I’m glad you had a good time.

I have to disagree with not having an address book, though. My phone dies on me last year and in the transition to waiting it out for a few weeks, I did not have most of my contacts! I am an Apple user but the Contacts app in iCloud was not complete. I am slowly building up an address book of the important people in my life (for emergency purposes).

I was feeling serious FOMO especially due to it being in TX (I'm from Fort Worth, which is less than 30 mins from Arlington.) But unfortunately, I couldn't go because no one in my family wanted to spend the ticket price to go with me.
I asked my mama, but she straight up said "H*ll to the No." and she looked at me like I was insane for even considering to pay that price, lol.
She was like, "I'd rather go to XYZ then to spend money on that." and when you talked about it I was laughing so hard.
It is expensive and I wish everyone could afford to go
Next time come alone! You make friends there! And meet your FB friends or personalities you follow! Don't let folks hold you back from your dreams! Life is too short! I came alone and had a blast!

There is a mix of both, but definitely a lot of regular people. I barely do social media and definitely don't have a shop, and still felt like I fit in!

I live in North Dallas and I was so sad that I couldn’t go. I doubt it’s something I will travel to attend so this would have been perfect.

It’s very easy to make friends there. I see people talking to strangers there all the time and everyone seems very welcoming. I know it would be hard though.

It was around $700.
It was closer to $800 this year with the fees and taxes...$775 to be exact. Past years were different prices. I think past conference alum get a discount but for a newbie like me...that was the regular rate

Well you were about four hours from me when you were here...in Texas. Glad you had a good time. I got the Rongron Dallas sticker book and it drives me crazy that on the front I think it says Yall means all...that's not what it means. it's short for "you all" hence"yall".
