A guy I went to school with got his boat stuck in the mud. The police found his boat but did not find the man. Crocs were surrounding his boat, he has never been scene since. Rip Anthony (Beaver)Vanharen
Scott little goose is the most bulletproof release hands down. I still have one that i bought in 1990 and its still my goto for hunting. I have prob 15-16 diff releases but that old scotts has never failed me. It was actually the first release they ever made that came in that ionized camo on the aluminum head. Ive only oiled it every once in awhile with a little corn oil and ive never really even taken it apart and cleaned it.
I love the way Adam says Callarado, with an Aussie accent but he’s modified it a little bit from a normal Aussie accent, I think, so Americans can understand him easier. Can any Americans tell me how it sounds to you guys? What an amazing story teller he is, I wish he had more content out there.
"ONE SECOND AFTER" is a book to read about SHTF. Newt Gingrich said it should be required reading for congress. If you want to read how fast things take a shit from an EMP..this is it.
2:30 thats the thing that sucks about that is the rich people always hunt first and buy up.all the tags so when local people want to hunt for food and not game they cant lmao.
As an Aussie i agree with Adam, i dunno why yanks think our animals are so dangerous. We can at least avoid crocs in rivers and billabongs, bears and wolves and mountain lions could be anywhere!
Ahh these bloody Aussies, its always a good episode when an aussies on whether its adam greentree, craig jones, volk , Russell Crowe they all have good stories, a natural humor their voices have a calming tone or something.
My grandfather used to hunt in the south Island once a year for like 30 years I had no idea it was that dangerous ,there was no cellphones back in those days .thanks for sharing your story just put a new perspective on how bad ass my grandfather was ❤ and your a bloody legend mate 👍 holy shit I'm pumped up from your story in NZ !! Glad you survived 👏
Well those boat people really sound like all the other ancient people's stories of someone coming from the sea to spread knowledge like Quetzalcoatl and others. Graham Hancock would either know of these or be interested in going there at some point
Great podcast but sadly a lot of misleading information about Australian feral animals. We do have disease in our red meat (brucellosis and Leptospirosis in Buffalo,Leptospirosis in feral pigs) and they don’t just cause erosion, they are having a huge impact on our native species…..don’t get me wrong, I’m a hunter to the core but we do need to keep them in check…particularly some of our less spoken about ferals….cats, foxes, cane toads.

@azbowhunter62 no he's not. The channel broke this whole interview down into multiple videos and posted them one by one. Ruining ppls subscription feed. A lot of comments about in this section
With a name like retrogamer, to me the only outdoor pursuits you've done were on a screen.h ope I'm wrong but New zealand doesn't piss around, when your fucked,YOUR FUCKED,unless you have the fortitude of this man.......your not a gdam trans are you.
Adam displays as little knowledge of the Australian continent as most of his fellow countrymen. It is an ancient land of relatively stable geology, meaning the soil is generally eroded leaving poor soil. As a result it does not support a variety of large mammal species, on the contrary, the majority of animal species are characterised by energy-efficiency, including reptiles like crocodiles and snakes. Due to the lack of large herbivores, nature requires fires to recycle nutrients back into the soil in the form of ash.
@@TJ-zs3vx I am an Australian with a degree in Ecology specialising in Australian natural history. I had been fascinated with this stuff for a while, that is, how a nation's cultural story is told in the absence of any accurate knowledge of the very land upon which they live. This ignorance is still evident till this day, in the way narratives of bushfires and floods are framed as tragedy without significant reference to these events being a regular part of the continent's natural cycles.
Greentree is such a good story teller. Such a genuine bloke
My absolute favorite guest Joe has come on….could listen to Adam all day!!
how does this have so little views adam is a top tier guest
Americans don’t care much for listening to Aussies
Adam is top 5 storytellers ever on JRE. For this ep to only have 36k is a travesty.
jc this podcast episode is criminally underrated! great guest. hope he comes back again!
There are a few episodes further back with Greentree as well if you haven't seen them. Maybe 3 or 4 all up
@@noahpearce4105 I've seen them a few years ago (at least twice). Honestly would like to watch them again, so thanks for the suggestion! 😃
Haven't kept up with the podcast as much lately, but this guy is always a great listen.
