- Alrighty guys it is Qaaman here today and I'm bringing you another dragon ball z segment talking about what would have happened if goku killed frieza with the spirit bomb. Although this is a throw back video, this focused on how the events of Dragon Ball Z would have changed if Goku managed to kill frieza with his spirit bomb on planet namek. Based on my analysis this would have a major effect as Future Trunks's future would have been altered, Piccolo would have a bigger role and Gohan's life would have changed significantly. This does not count the movie Resurrection f and the super saiyan god super saiyan transformations. This also does not count training with Beerus and Whis.

You know, even though it's not canon, this what if would make Cooler's first movie make sense cause Goku wouldn't have had Super Saiyan from the beginning but would've have had the necessary tools to transform by the end of that conflict.

Thanks for reposting this video. Its very informative & thought provoking. However, something you mention caught my attention. w/o Vegeta, Babidi just might attempt to turn Piccolo into Majin, & considering that he's Namekian, might affect him differently. If its the same, I think Piccolo would be strong enough to defeat Goku since Goku wouldn't nearly be as powerful as he was when he fought Majin Vegeta. That being said, Piccolo might resist as Vegeta did & use his new Majin Powers to easily defeat Babidi & Dabura before Majin Buu is revived.
What if bardock pulled out
Frieza would never die, possibly would rule until he got old. No androids or cell b/c no goku. No z fighters, everyone would be weak af and king piccolo would probably take over earth. Boring w/o goku if you ask me.

I actually think that Picolo would survive the fight with A17 and A18
Future Gohan in the History of Trunks timeline survived several times fights with the androids and the reason of why Picolo didn't survived was because he fell like in the first hit but here he is stronger and he is also smarter than Gohan
So I think that Big Green would survive until Goku dies of the virus and Gohan goes Super Saiyan just like Future Gohan in Future Trunks timeline and they defeat the Cyborgs together but I get it , you wanted it longer ( pause)

Great video, I think you got everything right. It also confirms that Vegeta was only a nuisance to the team after Namek. If he wasn't waround there would be no Cell and no Majin Buu.

A question I asked on ask.fm is still bothering me. What events the story DOESN'T talk about? I mean, DB/Z is focusing on the main characters pretty much all the time, but there had to be quite a few events, some maybe even major, that doesn't involve the main characters, but had to happen in order for things to shape up the way they did.

This is what happened in the Cooler timeline. Goku killed Frieza with the Spirit Bomb and became a SSJ for the first time against Cooler.

xDDD I love that thumbnail and how I see when I see if Goku killed Freiza with the Genkidama, i believe the events of movie 5 The Incredible Mightiest vs. Mightiest or just Cooler's Revenge showed an what if event of Goku not able to transform into a Super Saiya-jin so easily when he got back to earth from his spacepod, he actually didn't know how due to transform in the movie till the end, also how Goku acted all serious and ruthless to Cooler like we seen he was to Freiza on Namek when he did transform.
What if gohan didn't break the z sword?
+Richard Torres Gohan wouldn't get his potential unleashed. He might come to Earth, but he's too weak to even fight Buu. Maybe Goku would even tell him not to go, since Gohan didn't get that much stronger from that training. Gohan's rage burst during the meditation ceremony was the reason why Buu didn't kill kids. Knowing that no stronger opponent will come after him, Buu would kill the kids before they fuse again. Vegeta being brought back by Baba wouldn't stand a chance against Buu. Goku would not get a new life, and Gohan might sit there without doing anything. Maybe he might become stronger after several years of intense trainings, but at that point Buu might obliterated most of Universe 7 if Beerus doesn't interfere.

There's also always the hyperbolic time chamber which could be used by various fighters during different points of conflict - hard to say which option they'll choose between say, this and the time travel option

knowing that cell is a lot weaker than any form if by

However piccolo, gohan, tien, yamcha, krillen, chaotzu, king kai or anyone I'm forgetting who is definitely still on earth, has seen him/felt his energy, could warn someone strong enough to beat him. Even if he did absorb 18, and every human on earth as well as most of the Z-fighters, he would still not stack up to gohan, fat buu, or even possibly piccolo. And in case you were wondering, the reason I did not mention goku/vegeta, is because it could be like in fakkatsu no f where they were training with whis or some other character and unavailable

Qaaman have you ever thought that the movie Cooler revenge is a product of this theory. Cause I feel like that it clears up why vegeta wasn't on Earth during Cooler's invasion of the planet. It also explains why Goku need that flash back of Piccolo and the bird dying in the movie to go Ssj instead of going ssj naturally. Also it will explain how Goku was able to hold his own against Cooler with out the use of Kiaoken. (Sorry for the misspelling and I made this comment way before I finished the video.)
I think differently after Colds death.
Before Colds death, they would use the Dragon Balls to wish back the Elder Namekian, bring back the Namekian Dragon Balls to wish for New Namek and the revival of all Namekians killed in the explosion. Then Piccolo (After Earth Dragon Ball use) would fuse.
At the Android threat, the fused Piccolo would put up a fight, maybe taking down one. At this point,only Piccol would be dead, turning Gohan ssj. Gohan would tell two or three people (Probably Bulma, Krillin and maybe other Earthlings) to go to New Namek, and wish back Piccolo. They would used the other two wishes to eliminate Android 17 and 18. Them now being on New Namek, would ask Dende to be the Earths guardian, bringing back the Dragon Balls -which would be used to revive Goku-. The timeline would be very similar until Cell (The one in the lab) comes (Buu would never be released as Goku and Vegeta would not be as strong), he would be alot weaker as the lack of Frieza and Colds DNA, being weaker than Piccolo would be killed.
If Beerus came the Earth would probably be doomed, killing them all. If Frieza was resurected (with Namekian Dragon Balls), he would be told all Sayins, and his father was resurected along side him. As goku was dead, he would of had no reason to train. The Frieza empire would be restored .Universe 7 would lose the tournament, (Frieza, Cold, Cooler if dount as cannon or 3 people)with U6, as hit would be too much. Goku Black would not be as and the tournament of power would never be held.
If Beerus never had the vision, Earth would ever have peace or Frieza (Golden) would kill them and destroy Earth. If Earth is peacefull, Goku Black would be, but would tet erased as he would be a menace. If Frieza goes to Earth, the tournament with U6 would be alot closer as Cold could be resurected, attaining Golden Form and it would be closes, but i think U7 would lose, humiliating everyone but hit, and losing because of the stamina. Goku Black wouldn't be and the tournament of power would never be held.

And even if he did, Goku wouldn't even be a challenge to him as Goku couldn't have learned SSJ 3, let alone the five necessary Saiyans for the Super Saiyan God transformation. It would be Bye-bye Earth if anyone angered him.
Hercule would still be popular because he attended the Cell Games and it was televised and you know Hercule he would try to jump in at some point
What if there was no hyperbolic time chamber?
This would partly impact the first fight of Goku and Piccolo at the World tournament and the training against Cell as well as Gotenks' time in it.

i think you did very well with this video though i wonder about main timeline gohan and maybe even goten's strength in this. i agree gohan needs to achieve super saiyan where you have him doing so but i think he would have been a bit different as in personality/character since goku is going to be alive before future gohan comes back in time and then after the defeat of cell. with goku actually there he might actually train more than he did with goku dead. i still think chi chi would be less pushy about goten's studies as most mothers are like that with their second child but he might also study more with goku around than when he was dead. but with goku as a training partner he would still be as strong or stronger. i do see it as possible gohan might unlock ss2 shortly before attending high school and while it may not be as strong as ss2 teen gohan we know it would probably compare to where he was in the time line we know.
plus with vegeta not around piccolo might spend more of his time training with the son family though thats maybe 40-60 and so he could be close to ss2 levels

Qaaman not to troll or anything but, there are some huge pot holes in this video. Why would Goku choose to train with future Gohan and not younger Gohan? Why would Goku not enter the worlds martial arts tournament? For what reason would future Gohan go back to the future and not tell the younger version of himself about super syian 2? I just can't see why Spopovich and Yamu would go after Piccolo and not Goku or Gohan. Piccolo being the second strongest that's a stretch. Other than the stuff I just mentioned here I agree with the rest of your video, again please don't see this as trolling.

The Guru could be brought back just enough for Yamcha, Chiaotzu and Tien to get their inner potential unlocked. If not,m the third wish could be used to do the same. Furthermore, King Kai could've warned the Z-Fighters about King Cold's approach. Had the Nameiansks realzied this, even through the remnants of Frieza's forces or such, they could've contacted the Z-Fighters with enough time for them to fight King Cold on New Namek

Quick question. What made you think Piccolo would be killed by the Androids in this scenario when in your What if Piccolo killed Frieza scenario Piccolo survived? It seems to me that the circumstances that would allow Piccolo to survive in that timeline aren't different from this scenarios.
Since goku is train with whis and wants to improve his power without ssj,why doest he ask elder kai to do the thing he did on gohan to make him mystic gohan?

I agree with most of this although I think that vegeta would've forced the names to wish him to earth, so he could challenge goku. vegeta ' s pride would've been torn that a lowly Saiyan beat freeza and not him...thus he would have been so enraged that this would've been the only thing on his mind. plus, vegeta would've never saw the legendary super saiyan mode, so I doubt he would've known what to train to or that goku already wasn't the legendary super saiyan or in a form of super saiyan...
thus, I don't see vegeta going off anywhere to train...I just see him wanting to fight goku...which could be led to very similar circumstances that played out in the main timeline

i think thats what happened in the movie timeline (revival of F and battle of Gods do not count, they are in the canon timelines)
I've done the math on this, and I'd say it would take around ten zenkai boosts to be at a base power level equivalent to a super saiyan. Knowing DBZ, the intense training could do that, but the super saiyan form amps up power enough to keep up with every growing threats. The fact is, as was in Trunks timeline, nobody would've been prepared for the androids had they merely been strong enough to kill Freiza.
We can assume with Trunk's warning, they would've trained smarter. Perhaps used the room of spirit and time. If none of the saiyans had gone super, this would be a huge handicap, but they'd also get way more out of their zenaki boost being much nearer to death everytime they ki-blasted eachother in the butthole.
I think the only way they could've made it past the androids would be a combination of the room of spirit and time, and if they used the dragonballs to regain their tails and Vegeta taught Goku and Gohan how to control themselves in oozaru form. Even then, once Buu saga emerges, (or if they were stupid enough to let Cell reach his final form) they're fucked. Most of the threats are their own fault for being arrogant and at some point they will be even if they weren't that particular time.
I think vegeta would've gotten immortality with the third wish from the dragon since he would've not gone to earth, is strong and smart enough to stay on namek and force the namekians to grant him immortality
Why does goku not use the spirit bomb in any ssj or God forms does it become to powerful for him to control or what?
Why Piccolo can't make the dragon balls work again after fusing with Kami? is there a reason for this? I personally don't remember details about this topic.

When Imperfect Cell "killed" Piccolo, what if Goku couldn't stop Gohan from going to fight Cell?
Remember, this was when they were waiting for Vegeta/Trunks to exit the Chamber. What if Gohan fought Cell, and let's say, died?
Didn't you say in one of your vedios after this that piccolo fused with kami would be stronger than the androids?
I dont think soo since vagetas rate of training was fast due to a natural phenomenon, going out in space with asteroids isn't exactly something he can change, he had to transform to save his ship

When cell killed future trunks so he could use his time machine, he was full grown. But when cell came out of the time machine bin the main timeline, he was in a young form. Am I forgetting something?
What if their were a future Goten along with Trunks and also two time machines
I think Vegeta would come to Earth with Goku, at that point they would fight more regularly and eventually train together and grow the super saiyan transformations faster.
