I bedded triger guard on rem 700 sa. I found the original trigger guard metal was not parral at thr screw points. The rear screw point actually flexed the trigger guard when tightening up... So.. When it was bedded in, without screwing into place with action screws...the rear screw only fitted in 2 turns etc.. I ordered longer action screws to solve this. I was amazed by this ..and even with pictures of thd trigger guard overlying a piece of paper...showing the different angles of the metal at the screw points .. communication of this oddity failed...
