We carry a few lengths of different size hoses, O rings and some connections, but you can't carry everything and it's always the part or accessory that you don't have that you'll typically end up needing 🤣. Good that it wasn't anything serious but oh my the price, welcome back to Europe!
Great video!! 👍 One thing is for sure! The low ratio pipe will never fail on our motorbikes!! 😂😂 Enjoy England, and I'm sure you will miss Tonka soon!! Chat soon!😊 J and D 👍
I got me a puncture outside tangiers went about getting it together covered in sand couldn't remember where the lock nut was I was getting frustrated went out had a cup of mint tea came back got my lock nut and the spare got on and I moved on I have some funny stories from morroco ...Happy holidays have a good one
lol, I get you but I have to confess... I (Phil) definitely have a big bike trip left in me although I'm not sure Izzy feels the same, she probably want to stop in 4/5 * hotels 😫🙏😀
Thanks for another enjoyable vid. Just a thought, do you carry a 12/24v tyre inflation compressor? You could perhaps put a fitting on the brakes air tank so you could in an emergency attach the battery compressor and pressurise the air tank enough to release the hand brakes and brakes, so you could at least get moving. Also - when did you modify your bike frame? I’ve not noticed it before :)
Ah glad you got things sorted! Great video as always! We broke down in the middle of nowhere! Im sure you know the place just down from Mount Nemrut in Turkey 🇹🇷 We took the scenic route on the North side and basically the brakes went spongy after the hairpin bends! The locals were amazing using google translate and taking 12 hrs start to finish, from towing us 50km taking 4hrs to finding a garage and fixing the brakes! Theres always someone to help you in Turkey! 😊
Thanks Sally, Wow... not the place to have spongy brakes, that sounds like a very long day. Totally, I can honestly say, we have never come across a more friendlier & generous nation than Turkey, they are such good people.
I have really enjoyed your Morocco vlogs and this one rounds it off nicely. I can't believe you were speeding in Tonka, especially it being such a large truck. I guess if you had got on the 11am ferry you would have been later still. I gather from your attitude that delays are par for the course. An absolutely fascinating insight into your life on the road in Morocco. Thank you for sharing it with us. I look forward to your next adventure and Tonka II in 2024.
Hi Peter, great to hear from you, and as always thank you, I'm pleased you enjoyed them. I know, I'm normally really good at keeping track of our speed and don't venture much over 50mph, but a moment of lapsed concentration and hands up, there's no excuses. More to follow on Tonka ||... I'd love to share more but it's very early days - that said, the design layout is 90% there and we've got a fabricator who's on board to carry out 40/50% of the work. Cheers Peter 🙏😀
@@TheGapDecaders I really do hope you will be able to share some vlogs on the process of procuring and building Tonka II - I am sure it will be fascinating.

Brilliant story, this is so typical for Morocco... one of the many reasons why we love this fascinating country. Cheers 🙏😀
Those Adventure bikes are cool but for me more so as a supply runner. I need to have a bit more comfort. 😊

Hi Both, absolutely 😀
Brilliant news, great size A-Class and a good size garage.
Hard to beat France in the summer months. 🙏😀
Tislit means the bride in the amazigh language btw
I love these fact's, thank you for sharing 🙏😀
496$ 😮 you should have fixed that in Morocco would have been much cheaper
Yep, I honestly thought it'd be a simple line replacement, maybe 100 euro's 😫, every day’s a school day. 🙏😀
