OVERLAND MOROCCO ...From Floods To Sahara!

- After the rains, we decided we'd continue with our plan to overland Morocco and make for the desert.
The aftermath of the floods was evident with roads still closed, local people spectating and with the cleanup ongoing, it was time to regroup.
With the wind blowing and sand everywhere, we eventually made it to the edge of the Sahara and the contrast was incredible. We definitely felt privileged as we cooked dinner and watched the sun go down over the dunes.
Contrary to popular belief, you don't need 4WD or a monstrous overland truck to explore this fascinating country. It’s safe and accessible whether you're in a car, campervan, motorhome, or motorcycle, and will give you an unforgettable experience... what are you waiting for?

Can’t believe how quickly the rain water cleared From the roads
Hi Paul, yeah quite incredible 🙏😀
Great video guys. I am watching your videos randomly, like them a lot.
Well done 👍 Beautiful countryside. That one camp with the palms and safety wall looked nice and great to chat with others,, but nothing compared to the views of the other ones.👍🏝
Getting fresh bread in the morning in the desert. 🏜 🐫 🐪 🐫 🐪 and dune buggies. Awesome 👍💪
Thank you, Glad you enjoyed it and yes I'm with you... wide open spaces every time. 🙏😀
If I go over 30mph here in England my wife grabs the door handle. Liz is brave it’s not easy not being in control.
Fantastic lifestyle and videos.
Hi Ray, funny. Thank you 😀
I just love watching your videos. From parked up in a garage workshop bay to a campsite in the desert, just great.
Love "don't drive into the ditch" and your reply of "why would I?"😂
Do you ever call into any of the little shops in the villages? If you do, would like to see inside.
I can see why you love it there. Raw beauty, warts and all, is something you can only experience, although it is coming through on your videos just by your enthusiasm.
Basic but functional would seem to sum up the campsite facilities you showed us. I feel I am picking up tips each week but any other tips you feel are worth sharing are always welcome.
Hi Peter, I'm sat here smiling (so so true, warts and all) thank you.
Interesting you should mention the raw beauty, I think if I had to pick my biggest love of Morocco it'd be exactly that.
Really good point re shops, I suppose we’re so used to them over the years that it's become our norm.
I'll certainly try, it's more difficult in Muslim countrys as many people don't like being on camera but if I can I will. 🙏😀
Another excellent video keep save 🐾🐾
Hi Neil, thank you 🙏 😊
Thank you for the video, thoroughly enjoyed it :)
thank you, Glad you enjoyed it! 😀
Hi guys, another great video, love the places you get to, so different. Look forward the next one 😊
Glad you enjoyed it 🙏😀
Great Video!!!
God bless you brother ❤
Thank you 😀
Thank you for another enjoyable informative video
Our pleasure! 😀
Great content again 👍🏻
Glad you enjoyed it 🙏
Hey guys. Always so impressed with your videos. Is that something you did for a living before adventuring?😀👍
Hi John, if I'm honest I'm sat here with a big smile on my face, so thank you. I'd never touched editing software or remotely dabbled in video editing until I started TH-cam in Jan 2022, after watching a few tutorials online and muddling through it's just kinda evolved. It's all very basic but I'm thrilled you think it's worthy so THANK YOU 😀

Well that’s bloody impressive! Keep doing what you’re doing guys. It’s not something I’d find easy, especially when things get ‘challenging’ 😂. Honestly, I keep shoving my phone in Tanya’s face (long term suffering wife) and saying “we need a truck”😂!
If you’re ever in the Hay area, give us a shout👍.
Morroco is nice place to travel indeed took a long drive to morroco few years ago can't wait to hit the road again covid broke my stride have been locked up in my locker since 2018 but warming up and getting ready for my next run .....was looking at the map going down to Senegal up to Algeria . ..the morrocan Algerian border is closed which is a bomber Algerian visas are a bit complicated too wondering how is it to get into Algeria from the south and if Mali is safe enough to go through from looking at it at a map from Algeria to Tunisia and then on to a boat to Italy that's a good enough round trip ..but yeah nice one and thank you enjoy it and have a good one
Hi and thank you, as you say the Maroc/Algerian border is closed and yes the passage to Mauritania is doable and pretty safe (other than the far south), in terms of transiting through Mali I'm honestly not sure and how safe/achievable that is.
Tunisia is certainly a goer and high on our list, safe and accessible but I'm not sure if it’s a overland gateway. 🙏😀
@@TheGapDecaders Thank you mate Wishing you all the best and happy easter have a good one
Hi - loving the videos and adventures! We love the look of the camping auberge campsite you stayed at but have looked at map and cannot for the life of us fathom which one it was. Would you mind either sharing the what 3 words or the nearest town pls? Thank you! 🙏🏻
Hi Lynne, thank you as always. No problem, it’s the best camp site in Zagora and the W3W is - revised.static.womanly
Like Izzy says in the video, to get there alongside the channelled water seems wrong but it’s the only route there.
Hope that helps. 😀
@@TheGapDecaders perfect - thank you and safe, happy travels x
That mud looked deep! Smashing to see Izzy’s pants too 😂
LOL, cheers guys... yeah it was cheeky enough 🙏😀
👍👍👍👍👍👍🚛🚛🚛
🙏😀
Are you close to Noraly? Itchy Boots?
No and we were in such close proximity at one point, damn as I'd really love to meet her.
She’s now pushed further south into Mauritania, maybe next time.
She is amazing!
