It’s odd how each of our Switch collections can differ. I have more games, but less accessories. And I collect any game that looks interesting whether first or third party. Great collection :)
The good news is you already have the rarest version of the Lite. Currently the other versions are just the standard grey, yellow, turquoise and coral. There's several special edition Switches, but my favorite is the Dragon Quest edition. It has blue joy-con and it's a V2 Switch with the better battery life. The animal crossing edition is a close second favorite though.
This is awesome. I drool over my friends smash bro’s switch console. Really really love that one. I wish they did more with the joy con colors but I think this console has many years of life still left!
Im deffi looking out for Raji, looks amazing. Waiting for the physical release. Just get the console boxes for the consols thats just looks like a stock Switch. No need to get the actual system if its a stock one. Much cheaper.
I love when you make these videos. So much fun to see what games you choose to get. For downloadable games recommendations, I really don't have many since I prefer physical games. However, I cannot recommend enough all of the SteamWorld games: SteamWorld Dig and SteamWorld Dig 2 are a Metroidvania style action-adventure platformers. SteamWorld Heist is a turn based tactics shooter. SteamWorld Quest Hand of Gilgamech is a turn based role-playing deck-builder. The three different styles of gameplay are done fantasticly. The characters are great with funny dialog. The stories are Mario-like in that they are barely there, but what is there is perfect and create an obviously connected world. They are currently on sale, too.
Besides the ones you mentioned, I recall them releasing neon yellow joycon for the release of Arms and green ones for Luigi's Mansion 3. I believe there's also a blue and yellow set as well, along with some like the brown and yellow that came bundled with the Pokémon Let's Go special edition console. The ACNH ones are my favorite, though.

You said you could use amiibo costumes in Super Mario Maker 2, but that's actually something they removed in that game from the Wii U version. You only get a Link costume, and it's not related to amiibo.
Honestly my favorite console is Wii U. I have so much nostalgia for it but it excels in so many areas with its presentation where the Switch drops the ball. Take in comparison with the menus, the Wii U has so much personality. Then with the Switch, (Tumbleweed).
I said the same thing about Mario Kart 8! The game is literally 6 years old now & is ported from Nintendo's last console, the Wii U. Are we ever getting an original Mario Kart for the switch? I love part 8, but it's going to be 7 years old soon. Nearly a decade old.
I would give a foot and a kidney for your game collection. Good for you. That is a museum quality collection and you should be damn proud of that and believe me I get it.

I just finished luigis mansion 3 it is a masterpeice i played dark moon before its release and i just got the original luigis mansion on my 3DS and i can honestly say becoming one of my top series fro m nintendo!!
At this point in time I got 64 physical switch game (since I'm a only physical only game collector) and switch is becoming my favorite console faster then ever. Love to see all those collector and accessorie would love to get some of those for my collection, but paying full price on all those hurt my collector soul especially with the sheer amount of game the switch is getting every week. I know people hate opening things they collect, but in rechargeable devices. If they don’t get charged occasionally, the battery will become unusable. Which is why in a lot of manuals, tells you to change the product occasionally even if you put into storage.
Of all the special editions, I personally think the animal crossing one is the best! Maybe thats just my bias. Right now I have the original blue and red model, yellow switch light, my girlfriend has the blue switch light, and my prize possession is the Animal Crossing switch! Its my favorite nintendo system, and I never expected it to be! I've been playing Mario and zelda since the n64 days. Big fan, keep making the awesome content!
Amazing collection! I also have a lot of games I bought, but didn't play so far. I was living in Japan for a while. and the Nintendo Online store is selling boxes and docking stations separately. Just a limited numbers tho. I usually also a collector for various colours and designs for other consoles, like N64 or GameCube. But I will not do the same with the Switch. It's just too expensive for me right now. But to have the docking station from for example Smash Bros is enough satisfying for me at the moment.
I think the switch is going to be the first console I really start collecting for. I have thought about starting to collect for other consoles but I just never really got interested in doing so. Although I am super excited for mario strikers.

Games you should pickup as a collector: Ittle Dew 2+ and Wonderboy and the Dragon's Trap (from Nicalis for their inclusion items), River City Girls (LRG), Blazing Chrome (LRG), Mario+Rabbids: Kingdom Battle, Furi (LRG), Enter the Gungeon, Streets of Rage 4 (LRG). Depending on how big of an RPG fan you are, also Octopath Traveler, and Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch. There are a few more Squaresoft offerings on tap as well, if you haven't played FFX or FFXII before. Games from your collection that I would sell to finance buying the above: Mario Tennis Aces, Golf Story, World of Goo, Kirby Star Allies (although I understand you're a fan of the series), Arms, and Super Mario Party. I'd probably sell one of your three redundant copies of Sword and Shield as well, lol. And maybe the same for Odyssey and BotW? Not sure how many copies you actually have of those two.
14:42 There aren't more Knights of Pen and Paper games, but the original devs created another great game in the same vein, Galaxy of Pen and Paper. The DLC for the first game and Knights of Pen and Paper 2 weren't developed by the original creators, the IP was kinda "taken" by the publisher, that's why they aren't as good as KoPP 1 and GoPP.

About Pokemon Sword and Shield? Yeah I hate those games and they are my least favorite switch games... I played trough it, it’s fun and cozy I’ll admit and I have some “nostalgia” for it already... (remember looking at screenshots in a school magazines non stop and people got annoyed by me mentioning it all the time. My friend calling me to play. Going to Black Friday with my family and seeing the games in a game store while I knew I owned it made me proud! And I shiny hunted in my brother’s house on New Year. Pretty cozy) but for a Pokemon game it’s pretty bad
I have like 9 Switch games, but every single one of them in proud of, especially my physical release of Turok 2. I live in NZ and due to some BS thing where we aren't apart of some ratings board, we only got Turok 1 digital and as Limited Runs only do limited amounts, they didn't sell any in NZ. 170 NZD later, I own one. Possibly the only in NZ.
You should get Cars 3 and Crayola Scoot. I recently bought both in the eShop for under $10 each, both are really fun and very underrated in my opinion.

You should get shantae and the 7 sirens on the Nintendo switch. There is a physical copy and a limited edition version that looks really cool but they are out of stock right now. It would be really cool if you could do an opening of the limited edition version of the game. Thank you.
you should be able to get all the shantae games for the switch.... the 1st 2 go up for preorder on limited run games in a few days, the 5th one is in production, and the 4th one has been out for the switch for a while a bit pricey now
My version of Pokémon Shield came from Walmart and it had the preorder bonus keychain even though I bought it months after the game had already released. I think some of the other collectibles for that game came with plushies
Still not a fan of the plain red with white standard font of the spines of the games, reminds me of the boring white spines with standard black font for PS2 games we got here in the UK. They did this with the most of the Wii and Wii U, games look so boring on the shelf. I think each of the spines for the Switch games should have been different colours, a colour that suits the game it's based on.
I got the super smash bros special edition switch so I would love if you got it and unboxed it, it would bring me back to when I was opening it for myself

I have like 9 Switch games, but every single one of them in proud of, especially my physical release of Turok 2.
I live in NZ and due to some BS thing where we aren't apart of some ratings board, we only got Turok 1 digital and as Limited Runs only do limited amounts, they didn't sell any in NZ.
170 NZD later, I own one. Possibly the only in NZ.
Fun fact: TLOZ botw, splatoon 2, and Odyssey bonus boxes have an alternate art on the back of the game cases(small case not box)

You should get Cars 3 and Crayola Scoot. I recently bought both in the eShop for under $10 each, both are really fun and very underrated in my opinion.

You should get shantae and the 7 sirens on the Nintendo switch. There is a physical copy and a limited edition version that looks really cool but they are out of stock right now. It would be really cool if you could do an opening of the limited edition version of the game. Thank you.
you should be able to get all the shantae games for the switch.... the 1st 2 go up for preorder on limited run games in a few days, the 5th one is in production, and the 4th one has been out for the switch for a while a bit pricey now

My version of Pokémon Shield came from Walmart and it had the preorder bonus keychain even though I bought it months after the game had already released. I think some of the other collectibles for that game came with plushies

Still not a fan of the plain red with white standard font of the spines of the games, reminds me of the boring white spines with standard black font for PS2 games we got here in the UK. They did this with the most of the Wii and Wii U, games look so boring on the shelf. I think each of the spines for the Switch games should have been different colours, a colour that suits the game it's based on.

If you ever decide to get another variation of a switch that’s not the animal crossing one, definitely get something from Japan. They have the dragon quest switch and the super smash bros edition

This is probably a late comment but you should definitely pick up the Animal Crossing Edition of The Switch. They recently got in stock at local Walmart, Best Buy, Targets and even GamesStops. Better than paying the scalper prices
