One of my favourite childhood memories is going over to my (still) best friend's house and playing rayman legends with him but not actually doing any levels because we'd just make the characters slap each other the whole time
I’ve had my switch since launch too, and over the years, I’ve started switching to a more and more digital library. Since I have chronic pain and take medicine for mental health issues, I have to visit the doctors fairly often, sometimes three times in one week 😨 the switch has been so so nice to take on the go for it. Even for running errands as well, it’s my constant companion. I used to take 1 physical game at a time, but I love being able to switch between games like suika, Wylde flowers, and the like without worrying about accidentally dropping my game case and losing them all. It’s also handy for if I’m playing in bed and don’t want to get up and change games when I’m bouncing between so many I want to play, or when the cats are snuggling with me, I don’t have to disturb them to switch games either. I’ve gotten less and less worried about things like the eshop, since I know they’re always going to be downloaded. I also keep my game consoles safe as best I can. They all stay in cases and in my bag until I want to play them when I’m out or at home. I still have my very first dsi from 2004 in working condition, like it hasn’t aged a day. But, I can definitely see an argument for physical games, it’s more reassurance you’ll have them no matter what, plus you can share them with others. I wish the switch had a library sharing feature like steam 😂
recently I've been having a really hard time, my health plummeting and my search for doctors meeting resistance at every corner, but coming home and putting on an eeowna video or a stream vod never fails to brighten my day and has become such a big source of comfort for me thank you for streaming and making videos ♥

For anyone that loves their switch but has an injury, illness, or disability that affects your fingers, hands, and/or arms. I use the pro controller with my switch undocked! I have thoracic outlet syndrome and sometimes it’s impossible to just hold my phone, much less my switch due to pain, weakness, and numbness. It can also be difficult to find a comfortable position to play, other than laying flat on my back in bed 😭 but I got a stand for my switch that clips onto the switch and holds it, it and can be anchored to any ledge (so a bedside tray, bed frame, table edge, desk edge). It has a long, sturdy, completely adjustable arm. I can adjust it to where I can lay flat on my back, with my switch hovering directly over me. Then I use a pro controller to play, arms completely rested and relaxed. Getting a setup that could be adjusted to my needs really changed my life. For a while, I really thought I could no longer play games. I’ve been a lifelong gamer, and gaming has always been a huge part of my identity and how I relax and decompress. I was really devastated to think I could no longer game comfortably. It might sound dramatic, but at the time I was discovering that there were many things that I loved that it seemed I could no longer do. Figuring out a way to make playing my switch work for me really gave me some hope 🥰❤️ Sending so much love and hugs to anyone having a difficult time doing the things they love doing.
I have always prefered physical games. Must come from basically being born with a NES controller in my hand, then getting a Nintendo 64 for Christmas in 2nd grade. But I know that I can go pick up my DS at anytime and pop in physical game and it work. Should the console break I can get it repaired or buy another from a classic games store and not lose all my games because they are physical.
After hunting for games again, I realized that as long as you have the games, you will be fine when it comes to getting a "new" console. Before I thought there was no reason to get a game if you did not have the hardware. You live and you learn XD
I love collecting physically for my switch because it feels like you’re actually buying something😂 you could share or sell, and you get to appreciate the art of some of your favorite games! It’s definitely like that feeling when you were a kid. But I just got a digital-only PS5 because I find it easier and cheaper, and don’t really wanna collect discs.
My favorite thing about collecting game is the fact I can’t lose them when the store shuts down and it nice to have my favorite game on a self to share or show off! But if I don’t care for the game I always will either trade or sale it☺️😊
I loveeeeee collection videos of Nintendo consoles/handhelds but I like it the most of people who I can relate to. So love love love love love this video!❤
Physical collecting is awesome. As a kid I only ever got a new game for my birthday or Christmas so I never had much growing up. It gives me the ability own and fulfill the childhood dream of collecting all the favorites. Also what is not mention alot that happens to me is with so many digital games comes the selection fatigue of having to scroll down list to eventually either playing a game for a few seconds or none at all just from trying to figure out what to play. With physical they are in your face and i feel it helps to promote picking up games to play faster. Also they look nice either on a wall or layed out to look at. They are always a conversation starter when people come over and see the cases. You can easily lend or borrow games from a friend. Sharing is caring! It brings back the nostalgia of when the NES & SNES launched of inserting cartridges to the console to enjoy.
See, I used to own all my games physically. Then with the switch I changed to digital. And I’m so glad I did, cause I lost my 3DS and all my 3DS, DS and game boy advance games. Yeah the eshop will shut down at some point in the future, but I’ll still have the games downloaded on my switch.
Same here. I reluctantly bout a Switch because I wanted to check out NSOExpansion Pak to revisit the multitude of classic games on that service. Bought a couple digital titles on sale and Nintendo taking away access to our digital Switch library will be the last straw for this company and me. When Xbox still allows me to play a digital game I bought over 15 years and three console generations ago on the latest hardware they set a bar that must be met.
Harvestella does, in fact, have a physical release. I also loved the story I got in the demo and the price where I looked was really good so I've been contemplating getting it now since it's a price I'd want to give it a shot for
I definitely recommend getting Harvestella! Especially if you like games like the Rune Factory series as well. There’s so much story, heart to heart interactions with the main cast, quests, and so much stuff to do and work on! Sometimes it goes on sale for $30 digitally, but if you can find it for cheaper elsewhere or prefer physical games, then go for it ☺️ it’s about 50-100 hours long to play through depending on how much of a completionist you are so it’s a pretty big game too. If you do get it I hope you have fun with it!
@reyaer3750 that sale price is closer to the price I'd pay for the physical game. I was not very impressed by the gameplay in the demo and not really into farming games at the time, so I waited. I'm glad I did that because I'll now can get a switch cartridge for about half the money it costs on steam. A very rare occurrence
@@ammalyrical5646Ooh, interesting you’re able to get it for a lot cheaper! Especially with $30 being close to you buying the physical full priced game. I will say that the beginning is definitely pretty slow and starts you off in a very basic state. It starts getting better when you unlock more things with classes and can freely switch between a few mid battle to synergize skills. That said it’s still not too complex combat wise. It’s a plus for me, but it may not be for you. I grew up playing the Rune Factory games, so I’m used to the blend of farming and rpg, it’s not something I find often, but I love being able to turn around and work on something else if I don’t want to work on the story, and vice versa. That’s where I think the game has its strong suits
I love your channel. Here in Brazil we have few physical Nintendo Switch games. But Nintendo is getting better at it. In 2024 we will have Princess Peach fully localized in Portuguese, as well as Luigi’s Mansion. Sorry for my terrible english.
Nice :D I think Denmark has given up on trying to translate most games, probably why kids are getting so much better at English here XD I listen to 6 year old telling me about fortnight in almost flawless English. We have to remind kids to speak Danish in school. XD
I picked up my first Switch in year 2 of it's life cycle. Since then, I picked up the Pokémon Sword and Shield Switch Lite, white Joycon Switch OLED, the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet OLED, and around 125 games (physical and digital). I have never utilized a gaming system as much as I have the Switch. I believe the portability of it is why. I play at night in bed because of serious back issues, and the Switch screen doesn't keep my wife awake like the TV would. Not to mention the many, many, many fantastic games on the Switch. Can't wait to see what the next iteration of the Switch will be!
I agree, the portable nature of it is amazing. I only play on switch now, everything else seems to much work and I can use it while listening to youtube videos XD
I’ve been struggling a lot to decide if I should go physical or digital with my games. There’s been so much happening with digital games and media getting pulled out of stores, and the uncertainty of keeping your digital collection once the estore isnt around. What if my switch dies when that happens? I won’t be able to redownload my games! On the other hand, I live in a country where games are expensive to import and they get taxed at customs. And limited run physicals are crazy expensive in the aftermarket if you don’t snap them up before they sell out. Digitals go on sale much more often, and usually at really really low prices. So yeah, do I choose to play much less games with physicals, or do I risk losing my digital games (but enjoy a wider library before then)? A dilemma for gamers on a budget 😭
I would consider getting your absolute favorites if they are available physical and continue sale hunting on the e-shop :) I started collecting physical, it is so pricy, but even then there are games I want that I cannot get physical. Like What remains of Edith Finch and Say, no more! :) we work with what we have
That’s actually very sensible advice, truly, but a part of me (the collector part of me) knows that if I start going down this physical rabbit hole, it’ll be so much harder to stop at just my absolute favorites. Soon I’ll be thinking about completing the full series, or even just getting games by the same publisher. And because of that, I have seriously considered getting the physical What Remains of Edith Finch one day 😭damn you Annapurna Interactive! And you too, Limited Run Gamesss
@@m1lkbiscuit So true, I am having that issue XD I had to get blasphemous limited run games second hand because I was not interested before. Hunting is hard.

I prefer physical games because with the physical edition I have the feeling I really own the game and I can have all my favorites on display, also I sell games that I don’t care for. But if there is no physical edition or digital is much cheaper I buy digital games as well. Loved the video because you did a mini review for the games 😊
It's a good collection for sure. As a day 1 SWITCH owner and also 2 OLED versions, in 7 years, my collection stands at roughly 200 physical games and just over 1100 digital games.
The reason I collect video games is for preservation. I also want to ba able to lead someone a copy of a game and you cant do that with physicals. I started buy digital on switch and once I realized I can have people on my family plan play my digital games I went all in on physical gaming. great collection.
I have a video suggestion/request if you’d be interested! I am a new gamer, and the vocabulary is confusing to me. Like roguelike, platformer, etc. I would love to see an explainer video! I found a few but they weren’t as helpful as I wanted, since they assumed a lot of prior knowledge.
The lazy person in me likes not needing to change out games to play BUT like being able to grab the game and playing in someone else’s system or if you do get tired of a game, I can trade it or sell it and get some $$ back
penny's big breakaway looks like a lot of fun and glad that there's companies out there still willing to make these platformers. Definitely need more of them.
I like buying physical just cause I tend to get games on sale or the vouchers… I kinda wish the cartridges were like how game boy was just in and out without being so tiny and if it was accessible without removing from dock…more seamless design
As a pretty intense pokemon fan, the reason why people don't like the let's go games or bdsp is because let's go is meant for beginner pokemon players (the pokemon go catching mechanics and the game is also just pretty hand holdy), and bdsp is a TRUE remake of diamond and pearl and we wanted more content in the games, like what platinum added. I think they're both fun cozy games and I actually recommend them to people who don't know a lot about pokemon or haven't played a pokemon game before, but yeah that's why pokemon fans don't love them!
Nice to see you give some love to Penny's Big Breakaway. It's a great game. As amazing as Forgotten Land is (it's easily one of my all-time favorites on Switch), I actually prefer Return to Dream Land Deluxe, but that's mainly because the original game has always been my all-time favorite Kirby game and all the stuff they added on top of it really pushed it over the edge for me. The fact that it has no online multiplayer or an option to remove the character outline is stupid as hell though.
I got Three Houses recently and I am absolutely obsessed! I love all the characters and the gameplay is just so addicting! When I buy games I buy the one that is cheapest. If the digital is cheapest I buy it or if the physical version is cheapest I buy it. Also, I am I thonky one who doesn't like Breath of the Wild? I'm selling my copy becuase I cannot get into it. Another thing is that I absolutely love Lego games! They're some of the best puzzle games in my opinion.
i literally sold my copy of splatoon 3 shortly after purchasing it was just too competitive for me and i had struggles enjoying it similarly to you, i think the beauty of having physical copies is you can sell them second hand and usually get a decent amount of money back ❤
I actually prefer the digital editions… it keeps me from spending the extra money I shouldn’t and having to feel irrationally attached to pieces of merch that I don’t need since I don’t have a place of my own… storage is also expensive… It also gives me anxiety to change out cartridges and disks for some reason and being able to just open whatever I want when I’m ping ponging around with anxiety is amazing.
Yeah I like physios for some things, games I wanna lend out to friends and family, collectors items. Plus if you own multiple switches if you have digital games you can only play them when connected to the internet
I used to have many of my physical games in a carry case, but i stopped doing that. I started feeling uncomfortable carrying around potentially hundreds of € worth of tiny game cartridges in one little carry case. I bring the individual game cases nowadays😊
Nice collection. I'm sitting at around 90 games physically myself. I just prefer the level of charm of picking a game up you're looking forward too be it with your friends or by yourself and being able to see it in your hands. Some highlights I own are the Collectors Editions of: Atelier Sophie 2, Atelier Ryza 3, Blue Reflection Second Light (which I think is better then Persona 5 Royal), Crystar, Rune Factory 5 and I've the one for Unicorn Overlord on pre-order. In terms of rare games that are Standard editions I have Nights Of Azure 2, all 3 Clannad games, Fatal Twelve, Seabed, Food Girls 1 and 2 (the only way to play these on Switch is via importing the physical), Mary Skelter 2 and for Australia at least Disco Elysium Final Cut. (that's a whole thing)
I love shopping in CEX - I got most of my consoles from there. And I love picking up games from there. Would love a video on you going shopping - I can shop vicariously 😁
Hi, love your channel and great collection! I too am making my switch over to physical games. Have you ever played Little dragon cafe? It seems right up your alley and it is a lot of fun. You have to raise a dragon while running a cafe. You will eventually get to ride that dragon too... Mind you it is a bit slow paced but I am enjoying it so far. It is on sale in the eshop for 17.99(USD) until 2/26. I highly recommend!
My favorite TH-cam game lady, it’s been a while since I could comment but I wanted to say thank you so much for your content. I love your brand of chaos on the lives and your videos are my favorite. To the question of collecting physical games, I just am not thrilled that physical media is slowly going away. I get the convenience of digital or cloud games but I don’t like not owning them. I have old dvds of some movies I can’t find unless you’re on a specific streaming service, and I’m glad I have them so I don’t have to invest in another subscription service. Long story too long, I like that I own my physical games and I’m curious to see what happens to my digital library over time. I have a 3DS also so that eshop closure really informed my purchasing now.
I love BOTW so much that I think I've played it for more hours than I have animal crossing. It's just a great game to play when you wanna chill. 💕 I'm hoping hoping to get TOTK soon! 😊
Spiritfarer physical - not available new for the switch. Available new in the collectors edition for the PS4 (this was last i checked) but... the box art is BEAUTIFUL
I only enjoy playing lego games (Lego batman all the way) when I play it together with my sister. It gets kind of repetitive so it is nice to share the controller but still being able to move forward. It is such a struggle to hunt for physical games. I decided that I want death's door and disco elysium on switch, but the online stores in Denmark decided to not have disco elysium anymore and not have a date for when death's door is available to buy again. FOMO kicks in hard when you are "behind" with your physical collection. Harvestella does have a physical, it is available in Denmark, so It should be possible to find in other European countries.
Do you have any Steam specific cozy games you recommend? I know a lot of your videos are related to the Nintendo switch but didn't know if there were games you could only play on Steam since for certain games you prefer the Steam Deck over the Switch
I subscribe to these people who make 40min videos and talk about their video games collection. I own ps5 subscribed to mystic because of this and i am buying switch next week
i would love a video of gamehunting in londen. It's my favorite city to visit and I would love to learn about some new gameshops. (I know the different CEX shops and HMV)
Hey a little question for the community, My mom loved playing fae farm and now I'm searching a new game for her. The problem is she only plays games she findes pretty. Pixel games like stardew are not her cup of tea. Has anyone recommendations for a esay and longer game?
Yeah I played Link's Awakening on the switch because I borrowed it from the library because it's $50 that I cannot afford. It's all right game. I did die like multiple times because I don't play Zelda games I didn't even start playing Zelda games until around 2021.
Regarding physical vs digital. I think I would have traded my switch for a steam deck a long time ago if it wasn't for physical games. I really hope the switch 2 won't ditch physical, I actually think I probably won't even get a switch 2 if it doesn't allow for physical games.
Hello, I am so glad I found your channel at the end of last year. I would definitely would watch you browse around a game store and see what you can find. I live in the US and Gamestop is probably the biggest game store left around but half of the store is now just videogame merchandise. I really like having physical copies of games and just got into getting them digital. You can trade in or sell the physical and also can share with friends/family. For the DS it was about having space on the system. A bunch of games you have recommended are now on my list to get. Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is high on there as many people have loved it. I just recently bought Persona 5 Royal preowned and it was $24, much cheaper than from Eshop or PC. I just started it and like it so far; it is my first Persona game. I also picked up Octopath Traveler 2 and Fire Emblem 3 Houses. I love RPGs and games with a good story. Also, Lego Games can be quite fun. I would suggest the Lego Batman series and if you're into Harry Potter I've played those ones on multiple platforms.
19:18 I bought persona 5 tactica around Christmas of last year and I actually like it just kind of wish they had more depth into the characters I guess it's kind of like a Japanese role-playing game I just wish they had it a little bit more to the game but I still love it for me and my rating is like 8 out of 10
I would defo watch a cex vlog. I think it's wild they don't discount their games more. Isn't that the whole point of buying second hand?! And the one time I did buy a switch game from them it didn't work and I had to argue with them a bit to get a refund!
Dragon quest builders 2 is also a good game I don't know how people be missing out on that game. But also why does it got to be expensive I'm like looking for a cheap version here in the US and it's like close to around 50- 60 why

Got my physical copy of Harvestella for $45 ironically from eBay. Game was actually new and sealed such a charming and lovely gem of a game
I love your channel. Here in Brazil we have few physical Nintendo Switch games. But Nintendo is getting better at it. In 2024 we will have Princess Peach fully localized in Portuguese, as well as Luigi’s Mansion. Sorry for my terrible english.
Your English is perfect. 👍
Nice :D I think Denmark has given up on trying to translate most games, probably why kids are getting so much better at English here XD I listen to 6 year old telling me about fortnight in almost flawless English. We have to remind kids to speak Danish in school. XD
There is nothing wrong with your English!
Loved this video! Thank you for showing previews of each game you listed, was super helpful for a visual person like me.
Please do the London video!! We’d love it. ❤
I would consider getting your absolute favorites if they are available physical and continue sale hunting on the e-shop :)
I started collecting physical, it is so pricy, but even then there are games I want that I cannot get physical.
8:01 I LOVE Super Mario Bros. Wonder!! It’s my second favorite Super Mario game EVER!!! Also, I honestly love how cute the animation is!!😍💚🍄
16:31 OH MY GOSH I LOVE LUIGI’S MANSION 3!!! My favorite Super Mario game EVER!!!!😭🙌💚💚💚
Buying games in London would be great!! Thank you for your collection Iona. Best of luck for what is going on. Thinking of you
The reason I collect video games is for preservation.
Love how she adds to every game she has any critic of, she adds "but my dad loved it!” 😂 maybe I am like her dad
LMAOOO I love this comment so so much
Isaac is my go to game. I have a whole library of games I haven't even started... all because of Isaac!
YESSIR BASED TBOI PLAYER 🫡
Your collection of memorabilia stuff is amazing! I am totally jealous of it all! Loved this video ♥️
Just found this channel, such a nice watch, keep doing what you are doing, and yes a video of you game shopping would definitely be a great vid
would definitely love to see a shopping for games video!
The lazy person in me likes not needing to change out games to play BUT like being able to grab the game and playing in someone else’s system or if you do get tired of a game, I can trade it or sell it and get some $$ back
my collection suddenly feels small
penny's big breakaway looks like a lot of fun and glad that there's companies out there still willing to make these platformers. Definitely need more of them.
Love these kinds of videos, thank you!
Out of all of them which games do you play most often?
I love collecting physical games. I currently have 527 physical games. Strictly limited/limited run games are 2 of my vices, lol.
Spiritfarer brings postcards and stickers with it! They are sooooooooo beautiful!!!
They're some of the best puzzle games in my opinion.
i literally sold my copy of splatoon 3 shortly after purchasing it was just too competitive for me and i had struggles enjoying it similarly to you, i think the beauty of having physical copies is you can sell them second hand and usually get a decent amount of money back ❤
I agree with you :) It is a great feeling to get rid of something you don't like and get even a bit of it back
I actually prefer the digital editions… it keeps me from spending the extra money I shouldn’t and having to feel irrationally attached to pieces of merch that I don’t need since I don’t have a place of my own… storage is also expensive…
It also gives me anxiety to change out cartridges and disks for some reason and being able to just open whatever I want when I’m ping ponging around with anxiety is amazing.
I've only just started getting th physical copies of the switch games for the exact same reason 💜
I really love your Nintendo Switch videos, which are inspiring! I wasn't into gaming that much until I got my first Switch a few weeks ago 😆
Welcome to the club 😊
I have a 1 TB card so hopefully i can just download them and keep them. What do you think? Ive got some physical games too
Hi, love your channel and great collection!
Yes to showing us your UK gaming stores!
Awesome collection!
I love BOTW so much that I think I've played it for more hours than I have animal crossing. It's just a great game to play when you wanna chill. 💕 I'm hoping hoping to get TOTK soon! 😊
Wait, if most of my games aren’t physical does that mean I’m eventually going to lose them?
As long as your Switch never breaks after the digital store shuts down, you won't lose them
I learnt to swap shells on the joy cons and procontroller specifically because my autism couldn't handle not matching joy cons 😂😂
If you keep your digital game downloaded on the consol, will you still lose them if the e-shop ever closes?
If you can get your hands on a physical copy of yuppie psycho, please pick it up, it’s a great game!
Yes I want to play the old Professor Layton games on the switch! I also want to play the first Luigi's Mansion.
Would def like to see a hunt for switch games!
Yass please make a game finding video id watch it 🤗🤗🤗
Spiritfarer physical - not available new for the switch. Available new in the collectors edition for the PS4 (this was last i checked) but... the box art is BEAUTIFUL
I still could buy it in Germany. Received it yesterday in the mail.
Harvestella does have a physical, it is available in Denmark, so It should be possible to find in other European countries.
have you tried Stray Gods? I've been obsessed its a roleplaying musical game, the art style and the music is soo beautiful. also love your videos!!
Yes I love it but mainly played it on my steam deck
YES SUCH A BIG FAN OF THE LONDON IDEA!!!!!
Do you have any Steam specific cozy games you recommend? I know a lot of your videos are related to the Nintendo switch but didn't know if there were games you could only play on Steam since for certain games you prefer the Steam Deck over the Switch
unless it's first party switch games (zelda, mario ext) Then they will also be on steam!
I subscribe to these people who make 40min videos and talk about their video games collection. I own ps5 subscribed to mystic because of this and i am buying switch next week
Also Ooblets is currently like £15 on Amazon 💜
I'd love to watch a vlog of you hunting for games 🌟
Make all the videos you can I really very much really enjoy them
i would love a video of gamehunting in londen.
It's my favorite city to visit and I would love to learn about some new gameshops. (I know the different CEX shops and HMV)
I would LOVE to see a London game-hunting video!!❤
I would absolutely love to see you go game hunting!
Have you seen the new 10 minute gameplay for Princess peach looks so good
Hey a little question for the community,
My mom loved playing fae farm and now I'm searching a new game for her. The problem is she only plays games she findes pretty. Pixel games like stardew are not her cup of tea. Has anyone recommendations for a esay and longer game?
Where did you get the Vulpix Pokéball from? 😊 also me and my Daughter love you’re channel! 🥰
But... I'm old😅
I have 172 digital games and 20 physicals the switch i also bought at its issue
Have you ever played My Time at Portia?
If I buy a physical Game I already have digital will the data transfer?
19:18 I bought persona 5 tactica around Christmas of last year and I actually like it just kind of wish they had more depth into the characters I guess it's kind of like a Japanese role-playing game I just wish they had it a little bit more to the game but I still love it for me and my rating is like 8 out of 10
I hope you've seen the Procyon collector's edition of the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 soundtrack! It comes with the flutes 🥺💕
Do you ever play any of the rune factory games?
Lego Pirates and Lego Batman 2 are the BEST Lego games trust me
Go get those games!
But also why does it got to be expensive I'm like looking for a cheap version here in the US and it's like close to around 50- 60 why
hi! great video! does anyone know what the green boxes with the number in it means? i live in the US and we don't have those on physical editions of games, at least not when I purchased physical.
I have seen empty game boxes on Ebay for sale
