They don't have to change UI, this is industry standard and it needs to be followed to succeed, you can change other things but currently what Vision Pro having is the best, it's like saying car makers who putting a tablet in the middle is Tesla copy, but reality that's the best way to do it currently for user experience. So never change strengths but enhance it Edit: They might add Google XR later to it for international market, so what they have now is sort of temporary if true.
For the kickstarter backers, the shipment is expected at the end of January. The only other way to buy it right now, is their Indiegogo On Demand campaign, with an estimated shipping in April.

No display port. Can game with it/has controllers and they are looking at implementing foveated streaming to make gaming over USBC or wifi more seamless. However primary role is media consumption (horizontal FOV is not greatest for gaming)
My comment got deleted. But this is it, this is like the pico 5 we’ve been waiting for. I can’t wait to order this from Amazon/ebay/aliexpress when it becomes available.

guys, what is a headset to buy in 2025? I wanted to upgrade my Quest3 to Pimax Crystal light, but it turned out that the headset was so bad that I didn't even send it back so that someone else could get it. The most important thing for me is that when I put the headset on, the image is sharp from edge to edge like the Quest 3, and I don't have to constantly adjust it to look for the sweetspot.
The headset to buy is the one will release with Google XR, so just wait and see what comes up, Play For Dream MR and Samsung are one of first, the former I heard getting Google XR support for international level.
You must have gotten a bad one, I’ve owned the OG and Light and both were about 95% as good edge to edge clarity as my Quest 3 and that is down to pancake lenses vs aspherical lenses in the crystal.
@@damiengvideos4337 There aren't a lot of people who would claim that edge to edge clarity on Crystal is 95% of Quest 3. I've owned two, and edge to edge clarity was much better on the Quest 3. Crystal is much sharper than Quest 3 only in the center. Around the edges it gets substantial chromatic aberration. And all of that is if you're lucky enough to get good lenses from Pimax in the first place.
@@TRX25EX They don't offer anything new, and the price isn't justified compared to the Quest 3. They need to get closer to the human FOV to make people take them seriously.
@@Gr8Success lol and who offers Human FOV? Quest 3 is unbeatable in value as simple as that, nothing compares to it, but this is cheapest high end VR headset you can buy, these specs are all 1500+ USD and if standalone only Vision Pro have similar specs
Is your camera from CES 1999?
"Empowering the world, one VISION at a time." 😆😆🤣
Good to know, i am very scared of their kickstarter ! Hopefully they will deliver.
Can you also check the XEO BIG that was announced in CES? Another lightweight 4k4k wired headset.
No display port? Next please.
You just need USB C....Display port as a connector is dead...

Yep. This isn't a serious PCVR headset - not serious competition for something like the Meganex Superlight 8k, when it comes to PCVR visuals.
Well if you want to trust Pymax...

Can't wait for mine to arrive!!

what you filming this on? lol
2 potatoes
IPhone 3GS
its downloaded from discord channel
you must have worked really hard to find a device that films 360p.
Vintage TH-cam aesthetic, I like it, hahahaha.
I first saw this six months ago on Tyriel Woods channel. Seemed great then, even better now.
What is the OS and how does it handle video calls and things like authentication of FIDO?
Can you find some of the AR glasses with text overlay, this halliday one looks good
I hope you publish that more in depth video soon

I agree. I am all for having a vision pro experience without having to opt into the apple ecosystem. More power to them (and us)
How is it as an OLED TV replacement?
High resolution microoled- has benefits of an OLED TV but only for one person
thanks for the video
Any info about potential release date? Thx for the quick insights.

Display port?
Probably USB C....Display port as a connector is dead...They will retain only DP protocole
@SETHalpine in the video, they say no DP. Unless it's very inexpensive, it will be no go for gaming. Which I imagine isn't their main target anyways.

How does it compare to android muhan?
So it's not just a 3d print ?
It is not!
Told you so ❤
Crazy !
Does this headset has clear edge to edge clarity just like quest3?
Not as good as Question but pretty good!
これはpico4の画質を8k有機ELにした素晴らしいヘッドセットと思って良いのですか?
If like Meta with the Q3 they traded depth perception for FOV then I am glad I ve left the KS campaign.
Android XR is the solution. I think through Qualcomm you can just pivot globally.
Snapdragon XR3 will change the world
Im waiting for mine😁
Tell them to simply license the Quest OS from Meta and you have a Quest Pro 2 equivalent!!!! Make is so!!!!
NEIN NEIN LASS MICH HALTEN.........................BITTE LOL (iow let me hold it )
If they have an english os, I'd be happy to order from AliExpress LOL

the kickstarter price was extremely good, at that price you could have profited nicely by scalping them

Wait a bit. Lots of 4k headsets with competing OS will release this year.
1) This will have terrible PCVR streaming and 2) the standalone store will SUCK if they use their own custom software store.
